The Philae temple is the place of birth of Horus. You can’t miss this trip in Aswan. Our guide Moataz was a joy to be with. The Aswan dam is a feat of modern engineering.

Moataz was an excellent tour guide with amazing knowledge and passion. His English was very good and he explained everything to us in an easily understandable way and included us in his explanations which was great fun. He has a strong passion for Egypt and its history, he provided many interesting facts along these lines.

Even though the guide did his job well, we all felt he could use some training in how to interact with the customers. It was difficult to understand his fast paced accent as well.

The locations are beautiful, attractive and provide a sense of relaxation.
The locals of Aswan were helpful. I have given 3 stars for the guide as he was just giving an overview and not detailed understanding of the sites. It was day-3 of our trip and expectations with respect to guidance were already high from Cairo so didnt enjy much

We had a booking for a 9 am pick up. We waited outside the hotel on the street in the heat from 8:55 to 9:45. No one showed up. We texted to find out when we should get expect a pick up. After finally finding the buried phone number, we called and were offered a 10:30 departure with no reason for the no show. Unfortunately we would have returned to close to our train departure time. As everyone, we had a short window to see some of the sights around Aswan and we were not able to see them. They have let me know I will receive a full refund. I hope so

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your booking was made for 9:00 AM, and we received it at the time of the tour itself. During the high season, all guides and vehicles were already on duty, and the streets were extremely busy.
We offered a 10:30 AM departure as soon as possible, but you preferred not to proceed. As a result, we have issued a full refund for your booking.

We opted for the transfer only as we booked very last minute. The tour company was super accommodating. Our driver was really nice. I would not recommend doing this without a guide unless you are ok haggling boat operators for passage across to the island. The tour company gave us some good pointers on how to do this, but we still paid too much. You are kind of a sitting duck without a guide. Once on the island the temples are impressive. Note if you do the light show you will not be able to walk around to see the site. So you will need to go back again to walk around the ruins.

Very lovely! Mohamad the driver was very professional and arrived on time. Very polite and helpful. The temple is worth visiting for couple of hours. Mohamad also gave us the price of the boat to the temple island so we don’t get scammed! I recommend

Great service, prompt and excellent communication. Only hiccup was we were being scammed by a group of gangsters at the waterboat dock leaving for Philae Temple. We had to enlist the help of the tourist police and our tour operator was on the phone guiding us through the ordeal. Some forewarning or guidance for the boat cost would have been welcome. Otherwise a perfect tour!

I booked 2pm tour, and after Philae temple the guide told me dam closed at 4pm? But he took us there under our request around 4:15 and the guard let us in, it’s not a worthy visit because we stayed for 5mins and paid 200egp ticket. Another thing, there are 2 guys with us when I booked only driver and he asked for double tips??The schedule should be more flexible.

First of all Our representative told you to take in the temple only 1 hour to catch up the high dam but you took 2 hours, that’s why you visited the dam in rush and the tickets of the dam you have to pay to enter the dam and when you reached to the dam the guard he asked you to leave so dear the problem not from us .secondly We talk with our driver and our representative if they asked for tipping both of them told that you gave them 1 usd as a tipping per person and from your self . Very professional and friendly team. I was met in the morning by Mohammed who bought water and snacks for me. He introduced me to my guide and also helped at the end of the trip get my bags organized for my transfer to Luxor. My guide was Sharif - excellent English and very knowledgeable - I learned a lot about the history of Egypt, the dam and the temple. Perfect balance of time explaining and individual time to walk around and take photos. Make sure you take plenty of cash - as stated you are responsible for entry fees and boat - total was 480 EGP.

Super esperienza! Consigliatissimo! Prelievo in ostello e poi in macchina privata. Abbiamo visto la diga, il tempio (compresa barca per arrivare e spiegazione) e visto che avevamo prenotato anche il villaggio Nubiano siamo andati direttamente li! Moa super guida!
