Very Well organized tour

Very well organized tour. I was a bit worried after reading some comments about timing and organization, but everything went smoothly with this company. The pickup was exactly on time, the drive was comfortable with short stops along the way, and we had around two hours to visit Abu Simbel, which was enough to explore both temples. The driver was professional and everything was clearly arranged. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this tour

No issues with van pick...

No issues with van pick up and drop off at my hotel. Booked the shared van with no tour included for Abu Simbel. Everything went smooth and had plenty of time at Abu Simbel to walk around and take pictures.

Good communication from tour operator, but no guide provided. Driver & vehicle was sub-par.

The good thing about the trip was that the operator as reachable and proactively communicated. That is what made the experience at least acceptable (rather than a poor service). The vehicle, the driver and service was sub-par. We were picked up at 3:30 AM. The driver was the slowest ever (every car overook us). They provided us with a snack and water bottle, and told us that guide will join us at Abu Simbel.. However, no guide ever turned up (per operator the guide fell sick). All tour passengers went off on their own and decided to meet up outside Abu Simbel at a fixed time as tour operator was not available, driver number was not provided and guide was missing. Tour operator did revert an hour later, and we all managed to get to the vehicle for the return trip.. and yes.. the driver was again very very slow. We asked him to put up AC in van, and it turned out that VAN was not equipped with AC. I am unsure if the reason of slowness was driver or was it just the vehicle.. Eventually.. we did reach Abu Simbel, and were dropped back to our hotel. Guide was not provided. But operator reached out to us and tried to arrange what he could using Whatsapp.

The commute, the sites...

The commute, the sites were all great, only the guides provided for each location didnt fulfill the expectation. Hardly in 10 minutes they will give a brief and let us explore on our own in contrast to other companies guide who were giving detailed information about the sites. The best part of our trip was the driver Mohhamed as he was very gentle, helpful and made sure our transit was smoothest.

Poor communication and lack of organization

Unfortunately, the tour lacked clear communication and proper organization. There was no clarity about how much time we would actually have to visit Abu Simbel. The guide initially told us we would have 1 hour, amd then the group returned to the visitor center. No clear meeting point was communicated by the guide, the driver, or the assistant. As a result, several of us were left without knowing where to go. We had to contact the tour operator ourselves, and it took about one hour for them to finally inform us where the driver was waiting. To make matters worse, at the end of the tour the driver directly asked for a tip, which made some guests feel uncomfortable and pressured. Given the importance of this site, better coordination, clearer instructions, and more professional conduct are essential.

1)Instead of 4 Am, they called at 3.15 am and asked to be ready in 15 min. 2)Tour including guide is a scam. Guides are not allowed inside, so we saw outlr guide max 3 min when we got off the bus. 3)It was not a small group, it was a big intercity bus. 4)No one in the bus could speak English, so we didnt know the breaks between rides. 5)No time for visit and drink somethng total 8.30-10.30 am can be used, by yourself.

I write this review in hopes this agency will change its policies for the benefit of future customers, because I like this agency and I want them to do well. We were picked up at the agreed time, ie 4:10am. We knew this was a shared tour and there are others that we need to pick up. However we and the others that were already picked up were made to wait in the mini van for 90 minutes for a pickup for 2 people. Not an exaggeration - 90 minutes. Obviously this is a breach of trust and justice for the customers who communicated properly and were at the pickup time and location. We all had to wake up early and be responsible. The female tour assistant was very nice about it and tried to do what she can. The drivers were also very helpful. I’m not blaming them. But the agency and those responsible for the 90 minute wait need to take accountability for this and restore trust.

This was a great trip! At first I balked at the 4am pickup, but that's definitely the way to do this. I slept a lot in car on the way and back, and we had a good 2 hours to see the temples and still make it back in the early afternoon in Aswan (before it got too hot - and still time to do another activity). The ride was smooth, and the drivers were fun and excellent. We made 1 stop each way at a rest stop. The guide was great, too, although his role was limited because guides are not permitted in the temples, so he had to give us a spiel before we went into each one. That said, the temples are not that cavernous, and we were not on our own that much -- just enough time to wander and take photos. The temples are truly amazing, and this is a "must do" for anyone traveling Egypt. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour.

Abu Simbel is absolutely worth the long drive and this tour gets you there and back, with a coffee stop halfway and time to see the site and grab a drink or snack at the end. Both drivers were great!

Very good driver, attentive, friendly and pending everything. He only speaks English but you understand him perfectly. Our Spanish-speaking guide was waiting for us there. Highly recommended travel and Abu Simbel guide with them.
