The excursion to Abu Simbel remains an incredible experience above all thanks to the site itself, which is absolutely beautiful and impressive. Flying there is a real plus. The flight is short, comfortable and this avoids very long hours of travel. For our part, we were lucky to have very little delay in the morning, which made the round trip quite smooth. However, communication with the responsible agency was complicated. We had to insist on WhatsApp several times to get information about booking the flight. Responses were slow, sometimes non-existent for several days, which generated a lot of uncertainty and frustration before the excursion. We were also disappointed by the quality of the guide. His explanations were unclear and it was difficult to understand what he was saying, which limited the interest of guided tours on a site that is so rich historically. In short, Abu Simbel is clearly worth a visit and the air option is very convenient, but the organization and support would be improved to make the experience equal to the place.
