Dont waste your money

The experience was ok nothing spectacular. The tour company and viator lied and said my hotel was out of the pick up area. When I booked it did not mention anything about the hotel being out of the area. I found all of this out the evening of the tour when the company called me to tell me I would have to take a tuktuk to meet the driver. Had it been clear from the booking that I would need additional transportation to meet the driver i would not have paid my money to do this excursion as this is not what I want. The driver didnt do anything noteworthy and this tour can easily be done on your own. The driver took me to some tea shop in the souk where his friend charged me originally $4 for a bottle water and when I asked him if he was serious he said he'd make a deal and charged me $3 I paid but had to remind the driver I am a seasoned traveler and not some stupid tourist and water is included he gave me money back which I great but it never feels good when you are being hustled. Then the driver asked me 3 times during the tour how many stars I was going to give him and wanted me to write a review while we were still on the tour. It has to be a desperate Egypt thing because this is not the first time during a tour when the operator suggests to write a review while the tour is in progress. Glad to be away from these shady people
