For the Wadi Rum overnight stay you need your personal items, towel, toothbrush, and warm clothes as it gets cold in the desert at night in winter times.
A moderate amount of walking is involved so wear proper shoes ( Sneakers or boots are good).

Overall, this was a good experience for an express taste of the country’s main highlights of Petra and the Dead Sea.

Expensive and disappointing

I will start this off by saying the driver was nice, but that’s where the positives end. We booked this “tour” specifically with an English driver, the driver did not speak English which lead to a lot of confusion. Driver ended up taking us to Aquba - not part of the tour and not something we wanted that ended up in us paying more for an already expensive “tour” as well as basically missing the Dead Sea. We only got 45 minutes at the Dead Sea and had to pay the driver cash and we did not get a receipt so who knows how much it actually costs. Also the people at the camp seem nice but obviously do not speak English and the only staff member who could left often. So having no driver to help with communication didn’t help. The tents themselves were clean. Overall we felt awkward and did not enjoy our time which is really unfortunate and disappointing because these are such highlights of Jordan. I would not hire this company for this tour.

thank you jacqueline for taking the time to write your feedback. all our drivers speak a good english and that's the most basic feature to think about when we hire them, we're sorry about the miscommunication that happened in your case, the driver offered you to go to aqaba and you agreed on that, and you had lunch there which wasn't included in the package and he had to pay for it, later when you arrived to dead sea he asked you to pay for it, and you thought it was about aqaba visit but it was for the lunch, we blamed the driver for it, he should have explained that earlier. for dead sea, usually visitors spend 2 or 3 hours in the hotel before sunset, because by sunset all the hotels in dead sea close their private beaches, in your case aqaba visit took more time and you got to dead sea later than planned and had less time to spend there, for the camp, there are more than 3 people who work in the reception kiosk in the center of the camp, and 2 more people in the cafe, we think it was just a bad luck of you not to meet any of them. summing up, we're sorry for your inconvenience and if you contacted us during your tour to report these issues you talked about we could have done something about them, but unfortunately you didn't!!. again sorry for your disappointment and we hope that the partial refund we issued helped a bit.
