Excellent tour of Agra's top 3 monuments

Visiting the Taj Mahal did not disappoint. The history, the magnificence of the monument and surrounding gardens is breathtaking. I loved Agra Fort and baby Taj, as well. At the Taj, I was encouraged to use a professional photographer. I'm quite sure I overpaid but putting this down to a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience (ergo, worth it). My guide, Ratan Tuwari, is knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

Stress free tour of Agra

Our day trip to Agra was made seamless and enjoyable thanks to our guide Imran and driver. Imran knew many little tips and tricks to make the experience great for a first time visitor. From navigating the area, to finding assistance with draping a saree, and positioning us for great photos, Imran clearly has been in this business for some time and has a great deal to share. As we walked through the locations, Imran shared stories about the history of the sites, insights into the craftsmanship, and all kinds of facts about the surrounding area. We stopped by Arkba International company for souvenir shopping (remember you should always negotiate!). The driver was very attentive as well. Always on time, he greated us with much needed AC while sending us off with a cold bottle of water to the sites.

Well, the sights you will see will last you a lifetime! The tour guide was excellent and his English was very good. He helped me by instructing me the proper places to stand to get the best pictures. His knowledge of the the atea and the history was was so in depth your head may explode with all of the knowledge. Be sure that he takes you to the silk rug factory and the inlay factory. To see the actual process of how the inlay was done for the Taj Mahal was worth the trip! My guide was so kind that he took me to a salon to get my haircut when I complained about how shaggy I looked. His recommendation was spot on as it was exactly the way I wanted my haircut. This was a truly customized tour! The amazing part is that they will run the tour just for one person – a truly private experience.
