The tour itself was a good experience, largely because our guide was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history and culture of Morocco. He was a good man and clearly passionate about his work, though be prepared for a lot of travel time between locations.
I do want to share a word of caution regarding the "pharmacy" stop in the souk. Our tour guide led us there and assured us it was the authentic place to buy local goods. We were introduced to a man in a white coat who even performed a quality test in front of us that looked completely legit at the time, I assumed he was using real saffron for the demo. However, after returning home, I realized the product I was sold was fake. While it colors the water yellow, the threads turn to mush within 10 seconds. I am still quite frustrated thinking about it, though I’m thankful I checked the quality at home before gifting it to my friends. I don't know if our tour guide is even aware that the products sold there aren't authentic, but I’d recommend being very careful.
The logistics of the day were also a bit difficult, particularly regarding the restaurant the guide chose for our group. It was a bit expensive and involved a very long wait—it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive, meaning we had to rush and finish our meal in just 12 minutes to have any time to explore the souks. Overall, it was a great guide and interesting history, but I’d suggest being cautious with the shopping and prepared for some long waits at the group stops.

Scam ! Avoid !!!
We booked this one day trip from Agadir to Mericash hoping to get a glimpse of it. Unfortunately our time was robbed by the tour guide.
This day trip takes nearly 7 hours on the road from and to Agadir. 3.5 hours each way leaving tourists to explore Mericash less than 5 hours. We bought the trip knowing the little time we have yet expecting to make the most of given time.
Your description says 30 minutes in Kaubobis Moscque. In fact we had less than 5 minutes to look at it from the distance. Then the tour guide ran through the medina of Merracash. We practically had to run behind him, no time to take a picture or stop or look or even take a breath.
After running though the medina he suddenly stopped us at a herbal product market called Epices Avencora. There were two women pretending to prepare argon fruit to make oil. Then they put us inside this shop closed the door. A man wearing a white coat started going through there herbal products one by one for nearly 90 minutes. Then they sold all different spices, oils, seeds, dry leaves to the group.
A very precious time we could have spend in medina waa stolen from us.
Then we were taken for lunch to a place in medina, we lost another hour to their slow service. we were given another 90 minutes to look around, see the Bahia palace, buy souvenir and return back to the bus.
When I complained about this precious time the tour guide showed threatening behaviour towards me. He said if we are not happy with the programme we can leave. We felt uneasy and had to keep quite. I hope you will take this seriously and not letting your customers down. I have used viatour for a while now but this is the worst trip. Avoid this scam!!!!

Avoid at all cost- waste of time and money. Was at pickup point at 7.20 taken by mini bus to be taken to a bigger bus. Waited around for 1 hour to leave agadir. One guide takes the full bus around Marrakesh, so approx 50 people so most of the time could not here what guide was saying. But when we did hear him he spoke some english words which did make sense or could not be understood. After seeing the Medina, taken through the souk and on to an hour of sales pitch on argan oils , herbs etc. High marked up prices - total tourist trap. Most of the time tour guide on his phone . Then we asked for meeting point details so se can explore on our own - he refused to give them. We had to go to their chosen reataurant. He only gave us the meeting time and place after we have eaten. Its just a big setup to extract as much money from you- they are all getting a kickback from these tours. We had only an hour to explore the city on our own. Dropped off 1.4km for our location - having to figure out how to get back. He said it was 200m. We eventualy got back at 10pm- over 14 hour later. We feel we wasted a full day and did not learn anything about the city.

It was a good day out, a long day but good. Our guide showed us around the Medina, he was very softly spoken so it was quite hard to hear him at times. During our walk around no one really bothered us which was good as I was expecting to be hassled from some of that shop holders and vendors.

Brilliant experience! Spacious air-conditioned coach. Stopped on route to see tree climbing goats and again at a service station. Long wander around the medina and souk then stopped at a gorgeous restaurant for lunch. After this we had free time when we chose to go to the Bahia Palace which was wonderful and then go back into the souk for shopping. Only complaint would be not enough free time as the city is amazing! But this trip is perfect for a one day taster!

Our guide Akram was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed learning a lot about the history of Marrakesh during the drive there and during our tour of the medina. Hotel pick up was seemless, the coach was nice and had AC. It was very hot compared to Agadir (bring an electric fan and loads of water). We had some free time after lunch to go to explore Bahia Castle. We are glad we got to see Marrakesh, however in hindsight we would book at least overnight, so we could take our time, as it felt a bit rushed (but this was nothing to do with the tour).

Expect to be at least 5 hours travelling by coach.
We have all googled it, yes the goats do go up trees naturally (occasionally) but these are put up the trees by the goat herders for the tourists. Yes, you will be taken to see the shops and restaurants that have made an agreement with the tour guide so that they get at the tourists wallets, and yes you will lose out on that haggling because you look like a tourist because well that’s what you are. But that’s the point, it’s all an entertainment, everyone knows that it is just a show to us - to them it is a living. So, go with the flow and spend some of your well earned money on a few trinkets in the full knowledge of being scammed.
Our guide was good enough to go looking for the stragglers that missed the bus which is very reassuring.
The only negative that I would highlight is the cruelty of having snakes and monkeys held in such unnatural captivity. These animals were all obviously disturbed. The only way to stop the cruelty is to not participate.

Really good to be able to see Marrakech safely and easily, with a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide (Akram). I travelled with my 16 yr old daughter, we would never have found our way around the old town and medina on our own. The restaurant we were shown to for lunch was excellent, the food as well as the beautiful Moroccan decor, and not expensive. The trip to the "pharmacy" of lotions, potions, herbs and spices was unnecessary however, and just a selling ploy, but never mind, good to sit down in a cool place for a breather. Then we had some time on our own at the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, to soak up the atmosphere. Tourists, PLEASE do not pay for a tutu-clad shackled monkey to sit on your shoulders - this was very upsetting, as was the snake charming - this is not culture, this is animal abuse. Apart from that, a really good day out, worth the long drive. Next time we will stay longer in Marrakech.

It's a 3 hour drive from Agadir to Marrakech, but it's in an air conditioned coach. Knowledgeable guide and a good walk around when you get there. This tour doesn't include lunch, so keep 400 diram spare for a nice one.
It's very easy to get lost in the market so please keep in mind enough time to get back to the coach 😁
Really enjoyed the tour, you get 1.5 hours free time at the end, so we did a horse and buggy trip while there (always haggle though). Very glad we went

It was a lot more travel than I realised, but worth it! We stopped at a place where there were goats in a tree - apparently the only place to see this. There was a tour of the town, and free time to shop. The only negative is how they sell over there. As an older person on my own I was constantly being dragged into stalls, pressurised to try to buy things. There was no price on anything, and the minute you asked - Bang! They had you, and the hard selling began. But that doesn't deter from the trip itself which was excellent.

We loved to see the Goats on trees, the Medina and the place we were taken to eat was fantastic. The pharmacy visit was interesting but a bit long. And the journey took ages, over 4 hours each way. We didn’t get to Marrakesh until 12.

Really enjoyed this trip.
As my friend was on another bus (a friend I met over here who was staying in another hotel). The tour guides let me merge with her group in Marrakech. I was extremely lucky to speak to all 4 people helping to run the trip. Each person has clear English and many other languages!
The drive itself is long so id take headphone or a book! But you will really enjoy your time! Take euros, pounds and Dirham to enjoy your shopping!

Akram, Rashed and Couscous were a great team and looked after us throughout the day. At one point me and two others got lost in the crowd abd before we could even panic couscous had found us and returned us to the main group! The journey to and from Marrakech was smooth, with loads of commentary and we learned so much about how culturally rich Morocco is. Once we got to Marrakech we had a group walk around before lunch at a lovely restaurant that was reasonably priced and really chic. Personally the city was a little too hectic and overstimulating for me so I think one day was just enough. I was able to see the Palace during my free time, which was beautiful. I saw everything I set out to see and overall had a great day!

The driver that picked us up from our apartment was friendly. We then waited at the location for the coach. On board our tour guide Akram was so knowledgeable about the history of Morocco, gave detailed information and was available to answer any questions. We stopped at different locations for breaks. In marrakech, we had a detailed walk round the soulk etc... towards the end you have free time to explore marrakech your own way. Over all, the visit was a memorable one and one that I will definitely recommend. ( Thank you Akram and the coach driver)

Arkram the tour guide confirmed with a text message the night before to confirm pick up time. The coach picked us up on time . Akram was very knowledgeable and updated us about the local landscape and the history of the area including marrakech. Stopped off to see the goats on the trees and also a lovely service station for comfort breaks which was nice and clean. After reaching marrakech after about 3 hours akram les us through the streets of marrakech and gave us an update on the history. We had a lunch break on a rooftop restaurant which was great . The free time afterwards was used to see the Palace and also the mosque. Our coach driver rashim was also great and dropped us back to the hotel . Overall a great day for us all. Thank you Arkram and rashim for doing all the hard work and making this a very memorable day .

Great day! Going fo a beach holiday to an all-inclusive gets a bit repetitive. This day trip (and it is a whole day) was ideal. From Rashid the excellent driver to Akram (apologies if this is spelled wrongly) with his excellent and informative commentary about the area & history. The journey to and from Agadir was a welcome rest in the air-conditioned coach. Don't hesitate - book it!

Fact - the way to get there was very long- almost 4h but it wasn't that bad as Akram our guide was telling us all about the history of the different things and Marrakech itself. It was very interesting.
Overall was great, we would recommend it.

The tour was put together very well. The tour guide was informative along the way so when we got to Marrakesh it wasn't over whelming. The lunch spot was a really choice for our picky eater and the meeting points were easy to find.

Special thanks to tour guide Akram, he was amazing, friendly extremely experienced. The journey on the coach has a break which is good. Would like a little more time in Marrakesh but all in, about 2 hours of free time available - but you are free to leave the tour at any time.
