The camel ride was very nice and the camels were very friendly and well trained. It was nice to spend 3 hours to visit Agadir and its landscape. The chicken couscous was nice although the meal was slightly cold (I prefer hot meals). It’s worth the experience. The guide and driver were very nice and polite.

Yes was fun. Didn’t do barbecue & wish we had. Transportation was good. People with camels excellent.

Loved it!

Noelia_G, Nov 2025
Very punctual. The camel were very calm, food was delicious and our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable.

Camel ride gone for a ride.

David_W, Nov 2025
Excellent time up until the unexpected additions. The camel ride was fun and they did great job. Lunch was great. After excursion was over the host had extra time to take us to a few additional options complementary. I should have been more insistent. Ultimately all ended well - so would recommend.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you so much for your review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the camel ride and the lunch — and that overall you had an excellent experience. Regarding the extra optional stops, we’re sorry for any confusion. Our intention was simply to offer you some complimentary additional experiences since we had extra time, but we completely understand your point. We always want our guests to feel fully comfortable, and your feedback helps us improve the way we offer these options. We’re glad everything ended well, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. You’re always welcome back for another adventure with us!

Camel Ride and Bbq worth doing

Teresa_L, Nov 2025
We were taken by van to the area with the camels and were loaded on. We had fun with this as there were fellow Canadians from our cruise ship which made the drive very interesting. Small world! Food was tasty and the Souk interesting. They take you to the Argan Oil factory and also a leather store. After those visits we asked to go back to ship as we tired of high pressure sales. The camels were calm and we enjoyed the walk . The two accompanying men asked for tips after and we gave each 5 euros.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the camel ride — the camels are indeed very calm — and that meeting fellow Canadians made the moment even more special. It really is a small world! We’re also happy that you liked the food and found the souk interesting. Regarding the visits to the Argan oil cooperative and the leather store, these stops are optional cultural experiences, but we completely understand that the sales environment can sometimes feel a bit intense. Thank you for letting us know — your feedback helps us adjust and make things more comfortable for our guests. We’re pleased the team accompanying the camels helped make the ride enjoyable, and thank you for acknowledging their work. We appreciate your review and hope to welcome you again for an even smoother and more relaxing experience next time!

Not as advertised

Monica_N, Nov 2025
Not what it shows in picture! Supposed to be a 2 hour camel ride with BBQ. Pictures highlighted the beach and dunes. Went walking along road and through trash scattered paths through the back of a village. Second camel was hooked right next to its head and attached directly to other camels saddle. The First camel was led by young gentleman who explained very little. When we arrived they asked if we wanted a 30 minute ride? I felt uncomfortable asking for longer which I did 1 hr even though it was advertised as 2 hours. We arrived back and was asked by older gentleman if we had a tip for the young man. When we were brought to the market the operator was there and did not know we were supposed to have a bbq. I showed him the ticket and then he said he would get it organized. Needless to say we were not wanting to stay and wait given the tour thus far. In addition the tour started off so confusing as we were told by operator that we would be picked up right next to ship and then eventually had to pay a taxi to take us outside the port.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, and we are truly sorry that your experience did not match your expectations. This is far from the standard we aim to provide. First, we sincerely apologize for the confusion about the pickup location. You should never have had to pay for a taxi, and we will investigate exactly what happened so it does not occur again. Regarding the camel ride, we are very disappointed to hear that the route and duration did not reflect what was advertised. You should have received the full 2-hour experience, including the proper itinerary. We will be reviewing this with the team immediately, as this is not acceptable. Your comment about the camels being tied too closely together and the lack of explanation from the guide is also very concerning, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can correct it. We also apologize for the misunderstanding about the BBQ. It should have been prepared and ready without you needing to ask or show your ticket. We completely understand why you did not wish to stay after such a confusing experience. Finally, being asked for tips in a way that made you uncomfortable is not part of our policy, and we will address this internally to ensure professionalism at all times. We are very sorry that your day unfolded this way, and we appreciate your honesty. If you would like, please contact us directly so we can make this right for you. Thank you again for your feedback — it genuinely helps us improve. 🙏🐪

Not pretty

Deborah_T, Oct 2025
Not the most scenic experience! Guide was very good and took lots of photos for us. He didn't want to hang around the flamingo river because of mossies which we were grateful for.

perfect i recomment

Annamaria_d, Sep 2025
The camel ride was calm and good, it doesn't look like a mess, but it's worth it because we don't get such an experience on a camel every day. For me, the camel was calm. I would just say that when it leans to the side, you feel like it's falling with you, and when it rises, you feel a little like the camel is rising. I was personally very scared because I'm afraid of heights, but I managed it. It's not that bad. Even when it went down, I was very scared, but we had a good camel that went down slowly, so it wasn't terrible either. The experience is perfect. I recommend it to everyone, even those who are afraid of heights like me. I was shaking all over when I got off the camel, but it's worth it. Be prepared for the fact that your legs and arms, especially your palms, may hurt because you're holding on tightly and your legs are spread wide apart. I feel like after a 3-hour workout. 😂 But as for What they are afraid of is adrenaline and an experience of a lifetime. I recommend a taxi driver or a bus driver who came to pick us up at the hotel and took us to the camel port. The gentleman who has a camel will take you, take pictures, put a scarf on your head and you go on a tour. The ride is about an hour to an hour and 20 minutes. We also gave him 100 dirhams, which is about £8-9. He was an older gentleman and he walked with us on the camel for an hour and kept an eye on us. So we gave him that guy because we felt sorry for him because he walked so much. When we arrived from the camels to the airport, we went for tea and dessert. The tea was peppermint original Morocco tea. It was perfect. Once again, it was worth the £32-33. I paid through Viator and for this money it was worth it. For two developed photos, I paid 50 dirhams, which is about £4.80. It's not a lot. As soon as we finished our tea, we immediately got in a taxi and it took us to the hotel.

Bucket List Experience

Sarah_F, May 2025
This camel ride was so peaceful and the guide was an kind older gentleman that knew a lot of history about the area. I really loved seeing the baby camels and the camel I was on seemed pretty healthy. I do recommend wearing pants or activewear as the sun can be a bit intense, but most of the journey was in the shade. I chose to go around midday because I wanted to be able to see the mountains and honestly the views were so gorgeous. Thank you again, it was really wonderful and a bucket-list experience. Also the tea was lovely after the ride and my transport came on time. I really like that there are clean toilets and sinks right when you walk into the lounge and shopping area after the camel ride.

Not good!

farzana_r, Apr 2025
This was not good at all! We booked no BBQ just camel ride as we had a baby with us wanted to get home in time for her bedtime. During the camel ride our tour guide was throwing rocks at other guides and my child was getting scared. When told to stop as she was getting scared cause she never witnessed violence like this he kept saying it’s okay and carried on. After the camel ride we told the man where is our taxi we need to go home we didn’t book bbq. We could see them all speaking Arabic loudly to one another - looks like they mixed the group up and put us on the taxi with the family who chose to have a bbq. So for 1 hour 30 mins they made us wait and forced us to roam around the market and making us buy things. They kept guilt tripping us saying the local traders don’t have much and our spending will help them feed their families. My child nappy leaked and there was no baby changing place and we kept asking where is our taxi he kept saying 5 mins for 1hr 30 minutes. I then realised they were trying to distract us and wait till the bbq lot were done and then bought us out to take us home. They did not offer us any food or anything. I kept repeating my child needs to eat and change of clothes as she soaking wet he kept saying it’s okay and taking my husband to the shops persuading him to buy more. It wasn’t the greatest! The camel riding was not the best they take you through landfills which are filled with rubbish not great scenery.

Was never taken to BBQ.

Bob_s, Apr 2025
Camel ride was fine. Just know that this is a fairly urban setting. We never got the BBQ. The whole event was conducted in a disorganized and disjointed fashion.

Anastasia_C, Apr 2025
While it was a really cool experience to ride a camel I would recommend finding a different company. The views were not good, the tour was very disorganized with very little communication, and there was an “extra” stop at an oil production shop that included a presentation and sales pitch that was not included in the description. Be prepared for the guides to demand tips for taking pictures with your phone. The BBQ was good food that consisted of different chicken dishes.

Stephanie_B, Apr 2025
Put mosquito spray on! I got a couple of bites whilst on the camel ride. I wore trousers, a light long sleeved jumper and light jacket on the 17:05 ride and I was perfectly comfortable. The taxi driver was awesome, he arrived early and ask for us by name. We drove about 10 minutes before seeing two camels of the road in a desolute field with a guy. The taxi driver shouted to the man with the camels and then told us to go to him. Not quite what we were expecting but we went over. The lovely guy gave us morrocan names and got us up onto the camels. We started back upto the road, along it and then over into more deserts like fields. It was not the most scenic route but offered a true look at Moroccan life and the mountains on the way back. We saw some kids playing football as we neared the Morrocan kings palace. We cut our journey short before we saw the river. We arrived at a shopping centre where we washed our hands and went into a fabulous restaurant. We were firstly served water, followed by couscous, chicken and vegetables then lamb kebabs, sausages and more delicious chicken and fruit. 😋 we were a bit unsure of what to do next so waited outside for a bit before going back into the centre where another lovely guy took us back to the restaurant and explained that our taxi was on the way. It arrived and we got back to the hotel having had a really nice experience 😌 A massive thanks to all the guys!

Nice

Christian_T, Mar 2025
Nice activity and super nice people, location could have been slightly nicer but it was as good as it gets given the area. Food was okay and they take photos which you can buy if you want.

Poor Camel Treatment

j_r, Mar 2025
We booked the Camel Ride (1 camel per person, no BBQ), and unfortunately, it was one of the saddest experiences we've ever had. The worst part was the treatment of the camels. Reviews mentioned they were well cared for, but that was not our experience. The camels were tightly connected by short ropes. My camel’s face was pressed against the one in front, forcing its head sideways, making it visibly uncomfortable. It struggled for half the trip, and despite flagging this to the guide at the start, I was told it was "normal" to prevent biting, but it still didn't feel right. To make matters worse, my camel’s position made it unsteady, and when we reached the road, it was walking sideways in the middle. The guide noticed this, and once we got back on the dirt track, he PUNCHED my camel in the neck before adjusting the rope. Everyone in our group saw this. After the rope was fixed, the ride felt less stressful, but the experience was already ruined. Also, another con was the route wasn’t very scenic—mostly road and dirt tracks—until reaching the riverbank for photos, before heading back the same way. While there were some positives, the poor treatment of the camels outweighed everything. I would not recommend this experience. Pros: Quick and responsive messaging. The guide and other staff were very friendly to us. The guide took photos of us during the ride. Taxi pickup was on time, and they accommodated a different drop-off location. Mint tea and cookies were offered at the end.

Average.

Arina_N, Feb 2025
Photographer took pics at the start of ride didnt ask if we want it later charge each person 7.5 euros for 3pics.as I said I have only 5euro he gave ours 2ppl pics for 5euros. Kinda cheeky man. Guide was nice, at the end of ride asked for tips. Guide took as next to river, and took few nice pics.

Enjoyed camel ride, but false free picture and hard sell

Salvatore_M, Feb 2025
Pictures were taken before the camel ride that were included in the booking . We enjoyed the camel ride We were then shown the pictures but had to pay 300 moroccon Dirham and then felt pressurised book another trip which we didnt which frustrated me

A Wonderful Camel Ride and BBQ Experience

Alex_B, Jan 2025
A truly memorable experience! From start to finish, this camel ride and BBQ dinner exceeded all expectations. Our journey began with a pickup in a stylish minibus, where our driver provided a quick and informative tour of Agadir Bay before taking us to the "Camel Airport"—a humorous nickname that added to the charm of the trip. Our guide, Hassan, was fantastic, combining expertise with a great sense of humor, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The photographer, Abdul, was equally impressive, capturing stunning photos that were promptly emailed to us. We also had the option to purchase physical copies at a reasonable €5–€7 per pack of 2–3 photos. The day concluded with a delicious BBQ dinner featuring flavorful couscous, perfectly complemented by Berber tea. The food was scrumptious and provided the perfect ending to an already amazing day. Overall, this is a highly recommended activity for anyone visiting Agadir. It’s an excellent way to create lasting memories while experiencing a unique slice of Moroccan culture.

Camel ride in the countryside

Caroline_D, Jan 2025
This was a lovely excursion which I did with my 15 year old daughter. We were collected by taxi which was different to previous tours as we thought we woukd be collected by a bus, with other tourists. We were brought to an area which was still in the city, and so seeing the camels on the side of the street, didn't fill me with encouragement. However, we travelled along country roads (not sand dunes), at a lovely leisurely pace, taking in the countryside, and had a great experience. We travelled to a river and took pictures before turning back and having tea at a Berber Market. It was good value for money and we both really enjoyed the experience.

Pat_S, Jan 2025
I don’t know. I was never able to find the representative to start this excursion. Instructions on finding the start of this adventure were not clear.

Great Experience 👍

Hillary_P, Oct 2024
After reading past reviews on here and then actually doing the activity, its clear the team have taken on the feedback to improve the experience. Puck up and drop off was very prompt between the hotel and the farm. There was no tutorial or anything like that we mounted the camels and began our trip. Its pretty straightforward though and the camels walked in a line so all we had to do was sit and take it all in. I enjoyed the views and being in nature. The gentleman who was our guide took great photos at the best locations. I opted for the BBQ which i really enjoyed. Everyone I encountered was friendly amd attentive and overall it was a holiday highlight of mine.

Camel ride experienxe

Elaine_B, Sep 2024
We organised this tour last minute as we missed the tour organised in Marrekech. If you just want an experience of experiencing a camel ride it ticks the boxes but your basically along the side of a road for half of the trip and then cross some kinda sandy dump land to reach a lake with flamingos.Dont have high expectations.id recommend a dessert your from Marrakech. I think 1.5hrs would be sufficent

Camel Ride & BBQ

Stephen_B, Aug 2024
Hotel pick up and drop off fine. Camels looked reasonably well treated and cared for. Guide was nice friendly guy. The route is not quite what we’d expected (mixture of roads, dirt tracks and river bank), however the experience overall was a decent one. Lunch was really good - Moroccan tagine followed up with BBQ meats, all really well prepared and served in traditional restaurant. Overall decent value for money and a decent 3-4hrs.
