Excellent experience, our tour guide Harris was a great guide and really took care of us. The dune bashing was awesome and the camp experience really well put together. The entertainment consisted of 3 different dancers the last if which was a fire dancer. The food whilst basic bbq was tasty and plentiful. If you get the chance it’s certainly worth every penny and some.

The desert safari exceeded our expectations in every way. Our driver and guide, Marly, was outstanding—an excellent driver, and an artful photographer who knew all the best spots, poses and lighting for photos. The itinerary was entertaining, there was a good selection at the BBQ. We highly recommend this tour and would do it again with Marly if we had the opportunity.

If you do one tour in Abu Dhabi, let it be this one! Uni was our driver, and he's so skilled and punctual with time and the activities. He has reserved tables right in front so you get the best seats to the entertainment. The ride is crazy in the car, but it's one of, if not the best, excursions you'll go on! Unforgettable experience! The food they serve during the buffet is just as good as a restaurant, and there is so much to do while you're on the campgrounds.

One of the coolest things I’ve ever done

This was seriously one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The dune bashing was awesome! The guides are pros at it. It was convenient that the guide picked me up at the hotel. All of the other guides arrived at the desert at the same time and we caravanned through the dunes to the safari camp. The camel ride was awesome and the dinner provided was delicious. This was awesome and I’d totally do it again.

Fun experience

Group of 11 with a mix of seniors, parents and young kids and teenagers. Dune bashing was sooo much fun, food and entertainment was great but it got a bit cold which we weren’t totally prepared for (not guide fault). Wish drivers/guides spoke English and one car had a tire blowout on highway on way home which was not ideal.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for and $79 doesn’t get you far. The driver didn’t speak a word of English (not even the most basic words) which made the experience much less enjoyable. The “safari” is just a 30 mins ride through the dunes, and that’s about it. Then there is a long list of activities listed in this tour that are just with nothing… a 2 mins camel ride around a circle to take a photo (btw, they had 3 camels for like 200 people… speak about animal cruelty…), sand dune boarding? Mire like sliding down a tiny dune. The food… basic food, nothing to write home about… belly dancing? On dancer on the dance floor… it was just pretty bad. Let’s not forget 3 hours of car from the city to the dunes and back… so this 6 hours “experience” turns into three hours in the car driving through the city and on the highway, 30 mins “safari”, one hour wait for the food to arrive and 45 mins of poorly executed shows…. Not even with the $79 per person we paid…

Dune bashing duration: The dune bashing session lasts approximately 45 minutes. The statement about it being only 30 minutes is incorrect. 3. Activities: All activities listed in the program were provided as promised. We ensure that the full set of inclusions is delivered on every tour. 4. Sandboarding: Sandboarding involves sliding down the dunes using a sandboard, which is exactly how the activity is designed and offered. 5. Entertainment: A belly dance performance is, by definition, a belly dance show, which was provided as part of the program. 6. Food: Dinner is served as a buffet with multiple non-vegetarian BBQ and grilled items. We consistently maintain quality and hygiene standards. We kindly advise you to review the tour description, photos, videos, and reviews before booking, so expectations are aligned with the experience. A desert safari is offered at a very competitive price, and it delivers exactly what is described an authentic desert experience.

This was an amazing trip. We had so much fun and got so many great photos and memories. The trip on the dunes is fun, and getting to “base camp” was great. We went sand boarding, camel riding, got photos with a falcon. Dinner was good and the dances were amazing. I would wear sandals next time! A word of caution, if you get motion sickness don’t sit in the back of the SUV.

Pro’s - Lovely food, good entertainment in the evening, beautiful sunset. Con’s - the driver turned up and didn’t say more than 2 words to us the entire day. We had no idea how long the journey would be, whether we were picking anyone else up, what the plan was, it was strange. The camp itself was okay, but the way they treated the eagle and the camels was really sad. The eagle was left on its own, chained with its eyes covered, with nobody keeping an eye on it. Tourists were picking it up, touching its wings & beak, it wasn’t great. The camels looked overworked, with their mouths covered shut and were walked around in a tiny circle, such a shame to see.

A must do experience!

A fun experience from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel and comfortably conveyed to the starting point. Our driver Sultan was friendly and fun. The dune bashing was definitely an E-Ticket experience that lasted a full 45 minutes. When we arrived at the camp Sultan took us to a great table in front of the stage. We gave the sand boarding a try and enjoyed the brief camel ride. The bbq buffet was plentiful and delicious. The night wrapped up with an entertaining show. The fire show is not to be missed. A fabulous experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this experience.
