If you are arriving on a cruise ship, the bus picks you up at the cruise ship terminal. It is no more than a five minute walk off the ship.

The staff were wonderful but this is not a true hop on bus in my opinion. There is only 1 bus per line which means a wait of up to 3 hours for a bus. Totally unacceptable.! The cost is far greater than usual hop -on tours. Better to treat it as a one trip tour in which case it might be better to do a 4 hour guided tour with stops.

Over priced tour. They only have a bus every 3-hours for 1 route and that was not informed before. It is very hard to hop-off since the next bus is in 3 hours.
Also bad customer service. I needed an urgent information and they answered the next day. Tour is over price for only 1 bus every 3 hours.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! We’ve made some enhancements to our Big Bus App and Website, which now include the address of each stop along with a photo to help you navigate more easily. Additionally, our Find a Stop feature in the app will direct you to the exact stop location, complete with a photo to confirm you’re in the right spot. We’ve also improved our service frequency by adding newer buses to our Dubai fleet, so you can expect a bus every 30 to 40 minutes on both routes. We would love the opportunity to serve you better in the future!

Do NOT book this. It is NOT a hop on hop off tour. You can't do this and as stops are about 1 minute you couldn't physically do this. The staff aren't able to provide you with the same/constistent information. No route map a ailable for you. got told oh yes thats an old one. We only have this copy. Headphones don't work. Seats appalling g - all ripped and taped over. Commentary very poor and repeated during one loop. End of tour is cruise terminal- not where staredmted- can't get back and nothing to do there not even anywhere to shade from heat the 90mins for a possible bus back to tour start.
Complained to viator - agree fu refu d - staff in Abu Dhabi refused.
Hire a local taxi. They'll be far more knowledgeable treat you much more appropriately , go where you want to go AND be an awful lot cheaper. WHY pay this company?????

Lovely routes with modern busses. The information is clear and in 8 languages. The timetable is every 20 minutes. Of you arrivé on a cruiseschip, Big Bus provider a shuttle bus to the start of the route

As the ship had altered the itinerary, we had two days here. Upgraded to a two day ticket without any trouble.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. If planning a trip avoid Fridays for the tour as lots of venues are closed.
For the 2 day pass the luxury boat cruise which replaced the Dhow cruise was not worth the time

We booked the deluxe package and were surprised with all the add on's that were included in the price. The buses were well looked after all of the headphone sockets worked. The commentary was good and informative. For a quick and easy way to see a city and to work out the parts that interest you this is the best option. All of the staff that we had contact with were very pleasant and professional.
We went on the Al Ain day trip that was included on the deluxe package and it was a day well worth going on. The driver / guide Purma was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip.

A fantastic coverage of areas and sights. Unlimited free cold water all day. Lovely helpful staff. Disappointing that the dhow cruise was unavailable - the 40 minute yacht cruise was ok but a bit boring.

This tour promises a lot to new arrivals in the city. But interest quickly recedes as everything seems the same everywhere. Better commentary with more explanation and comments better timed to the location being experienced would be a big improvement.

Highly rated and a great way to get your first taste of Abu Dhabi - a spotlessly clean and beautifully designed and laid out city. The bus met the ship at the dockside and ran an exclusive return shuttle on the return leg. Staff were in attendance at every stop to offer help and advice if required and the audio commentary was both extremely informative and also of a very good audio quality. Plan carefully if you intend to include the Yas Island element because, depending on the amount of shore time available, the timetables of the two bus routes do not necessarily dovetail very well. We didn't think we would have time as we would have had too long to wait at the Grand Mosque for the connection. Don't miss the mosque by the way ! Highly recommend this tour with or without Yas.

I simply didnt know this was a thing in Abu Dhabi. Once I realised, I rollecup. The commentary seems to have lots of repeats, but aside from that it was an excellent way to orientate yourself to the city.

Great bus tour and lovely cruise on the river. Only down side, no shelter at the bus stop after getting off the boat and had to wait 20 min in the sun and heat for next bus. Other than that it was spot on.

This hop-on-hop-off was wonderful. I was happy to be relaxing and snapping photos rather than navigating a rental car or finding parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was grateful to find them stationed at the drop locations ready to answer all kinds of questions and assist with scheduling. Charlotte, Rachel and Kamal were fabulous helping me plan to see the most and be on time. One day is not enough time to do it all. I bought the two day ticket and could have easily used another day. Well worth the money.

Expensive compared to other bus tours around the world, but nice enough to see sights. Friendly staff and drivers. Water supplied and head phones. Ticket includes to of sky tower but that isn't as good as you may think - glass needs cleaning for a start. You also get a lot of discount vouchers.
