It was very hard to communicate with our guide. Language barrier was there even though they offer tours according to language. Had an issue at Mosque regarding tickets. Security would not allow the guide in and scolded our guide for knowing better. Wasn’t sure what that was all about. Took us to a place considered a museum but was really a spot to be sold trinkets. Call it what it was a market not a museum.

We apologize for the communication difficulties with the guide. We do provide guides based on preferred language, and it is disappointing to hear that this was not properly delivered in your case. We will address this with our operations team to ensure better language matching in future tours.
Regarding the mosque visit, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Sometimes, access rules are strictly enforced by the venue’s security, and unfortunately guides are not always permitted to accompany guests inside certain areas. However, your guide should have handled the situation more professionally, and we will follow up on this matter.
Concerning the museum stop, your feedback is well noted. Some locations are traditional heritage markets that are commonly included in city tours, but we agree that they should be clearly presented as such and not misrepresented. We will make sure our descriptions are more transparent going forward.

My partner and I wanted to see the mosque and not pay 2-300 taxi to Abu Dhabi so these day tours are worth it in that sense bc the drive money is saved in that way. However we found everywhere they take u a waste of time and just a chance to sell you sometime. Dates market, museum, etc. No point in purchasing ferri world tickets or anything they recommend bc each spot is 30 mins long just enough for pictures unless they selling something. The reason we went was the mosque and that was the last on the list. Only good thing about tour was shared transport was good with ac and our tour driver kept it running when parked so always cold in Dubai heat and our tour driver Abdul was very very helpful and friendly. Make sure u have nothing else planned for these full city tour days if you choose to go. Easy to say done Abu Dhabi in a day.

It was terrible experience for us. Booking process was smooth without any problems. Directly after booking, the operator asked for WhatsApp number and we provided. The operator wanted to sell private tour and offered us to cancel our booking and book the private one. We didn’t wanted to upgrade and he confirmed that we stay with the normal one. The day before the trip he wrote us on WhatsApp that 09:00-09:30 the pickup time. We were ready already before 09:00 and no-one showed up. I called them many times and no response. Also no response to WhatsApp messages. I called Viator Customer Service and they said they also can not do anything. The tour operator has to review the case. Till today I didn’t receive my money back. I didn’t get any communication/update neither from the tour operator nor from Viator Customer Service. It was waste of our time during our very limited holiday and the whole family was unhappy during the whole day.

It’s just a driver driving you around the main attractions. There is no tour guide. I was very disappointed.

Our tour was for 8:30am. The night before I was told we would be picked up between 8:30 and 9am. We were prepared to be picked up at the time. I was not contacted again until 9:50am that our driver was almost there. At that time, we had already assumed the tour was cancelled and had made other plans so we did not go on the tour.
