We enjoyed the comfort of transport and the information our guide Jim shared about Scotland, Aberdeen, Balmoral and Braemar. The only disappointment we had was the poor communication of Viator. For some reason they assumed we were coming off cruise ship and in their confirmation email that contained meet up instruction advise us to me our guide Jim at the North Aberdeen port. I responded immediately that we were not coming from cruise ship but would meet Jim at port as instructed. On morning of tour, I called Jim to advise him we would be about 15 minutes late due to rain slowing our drive from Ballater. He was very surprised he was told to pick us up at port since we had started our drive to meet him from a mere 16 miles down the road from Balmoral. He apologize and said had he known that he could have arranged to meet us at a more central location. He was a great guide but Viator should have let him know we were not coming from cruise ship. He would have worked with us to get a better pickup site.

Hi Cynthia, As you say we were not advised that you were not arriving off the cruise ship. Our tours are tailored for cruise line customers, but we do also offer pick ups in most locations for Private tours - such as the one you reserved. I am pleased that you had a great day. Kind regards
