Oliver provides an enthusiastic and affectionate introduction to the amazing history and people of Aberdeen.
How wonderful our docent was! She had first hand knowledge and was detailed in her information she shared,
Excellent tour given by Beth who was a local resident
Bring a jacket and umbrella……..,,……..,,,,,,,….
Kirsty, our tour guide, was really knowledgeable about the city and Scottish things. I would recommend this tour.
The guide, Oliver, was very entertaining and had lots of little anecdotes and stories to tell about the places shown, that were not only about the places but also about the people. This made the whole walking Tour so much more interesting, the history was more easy to grasp with these insights into the people's lives.
Very interesting and exciting tour of Aberdeen's city centre, covering both the present day and it's history. Many thanks to Beth for this wonderful tour.
Our tour guide was Beth and she did an excellent job. Very informative and interesting. I highly recommend.
Great walking tour of the city. It was was a nice introduction to the city. Oliver did a great job share facts and stories about Aberdeen.
It was our tour guides first excursion and had a colleague with her to back her up. She was engaging and friendly and had 95% of her info correct. Her personality made up for any slips in accuracy.
Our tour guide Bronwyn was great. We were there on a cold/icy snow day and she showed up and saw us around the city. 10/10. Even though it was not ideal weather, the tour was very educational.
Nice introduction to Aberdeen culture, points of interest and history.
Our guide shared many interesting facts and hidden gems.
Our guide Kirsty was very knowledgeable about the city and history and took us to some places we didn't know about
Kristy was GREAT!! Very knowledgable, open to questions, fun to be with and had wonderful stories that aren't found in a guide book. I highly recommend!
This is an excellent walking tour. The guide Kirsty kept my attention the entire time with very interesting facts and stories about events and people from/of Aberdeen. I highly recommend this tour.

Thank you for the lovely review! We are so glad you enjoyed the tour.
Great tour! Well paced with lots of interesting stories and little known facts. It was a bonus that just two of us were on the tour.
Our tour guide was passionate and full of interesting information about Aberdeen. He articulate, funny and made everything come to life. Great value for money and can thoroughly recommend.
Loved the walking tour- incredibly informative and fun! Our tour guide was excellent and had fun stories to tell.
This was a very informative tour of the "new" city. There was a good mix of the modern art scene in Aberdeen and the history of the city from the rise and fall of the granite, fishing, and oil industry. It is a plus that the tour ends outside an outstanding pub. If you are in Aberdeen, I suggest a Royal Deeside tour of the various castles and henges. If you are looking for an old Aberdeen city tour you need to search elsewhere because the old city is a 40-minute walk from this tour site.
Even though we live in Aberdeenshire, we absolutely loved this walking tour, Kirsty was amazing keeping us entertained throughout
The time flew bye with her interesting story’s
Very informative
We had a fabulous walk through Aberdeen with our guide Kristy. Very small group. She was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight into the history and present day culture of the city. Would highly recommend this tour and guide.
I was shown spots in Aberdeen that I would never have found on my own. The history behind these spots was extremely interesting
Seeing and learning is great but via a good story even better. That’s what we experienced. A brief tour but you come away feeling like you’re in ‘the know.’
A great way to see some unusual sites. Our guide Conor was knowledgeable, fun insights, and and great sense of humor.
Our Viator tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable, impressive with his local background and insights. Loved the tour and will recommend…. Also, thankful that the weather cooperated…. Cheers!
Not lots of walking. Through the city. History of buildings and city. Maybe as interesting as possible for the city.
The walking tour included some delightful & whimsical art projects.
It also covered the main historical items but not in huge detail.
Unfortunately the tour was at a period when many improvements are being made by the local municipality which made the tour leaders task more difficult- lots of noisy construction!
It was interesting and informative. Our guide Bronwyn was very knowledgeable, and well prepared. We walked down a lot of back streets and saw lots of interesting bits and pieces. It would have been good to format it a bit more into a story of Aberdeen - beginnings, rise and fall etc.
John was an excellent guide - he was a fountain of knowledge. The route was very interesting. The history was fascinating. The street art in Aberdeen was amazing
This was a great experience; our excellent guide Bronwyn provided a wonderful insight into some of the city’s history that I had no previous knowledge of.
Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful time during our walking tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. We were able to see many different sites that we wouldn’t have visited on our own. Thank you for a lovely time!
