Make sure you take a picture of you on line ticket !!!!!! When we arrived we were told we had purchased 7 adults and a child when we had purchased 8 adults after about 20 min we were able to proceed with our tour with our guide. Thank goodness we had taken a screen shot of our purchase !!!! If not we would have waisted almost 1200.00 dollars . There was no apology no oops our fault just ok let’s go after she made several phone calls !!!

Great visit to a magnificent palace!

This place is enormous and a tour is highly recommended. Versailles is amazing. Leave time to see the gardens, and maybe have lunch there bc it was excellent. Take the shuttle to save your legs on the garden. Nothing negative to write. My favorite place was the Hall of Mirrors and the king and queen’s bedrooms.

A must-see

A must see if you're in Paris. The tour was informative and the guide kept a great pace to keep us on track as we went through the various rooms. Once the tour is over, you still have access to go back through the rooms if you wanted to look again and also have access to the gardens and Petit Trianon for self-paced wandering. I thought the amount of time with the guide was perfect. Taking a longer guided tour would have been information overload!

Stress-free Way to Visit Versailles

We were very pleased with our Private Tour of Versailles. Our wonderful guide, Zara, picked us up promptly at our Paris hotel in a very clean and comfortable Tesla. She proved right away that she is a skilled and experienced driver in the crazy Paris traffic, maneuvering through the traffic circle around the Arch de Triumphe like a champ. Zara speaks English very well, and we had no difficulty understanding her. She began our tour immediately after our introductions, explaining the origins of the palace with Louis XIV and continuing, so that by the time we arrived at Versailles, we had a good understanding of what we were about to see. When we arrived at the palace, Zara dropped us off at the entrance while she located a parking space for her car. She was very clear about where we were to meet her. We didn't have to wait long, as she was able to park and get back to us within a few minutes. She got us right into the palace, skipping the lines that were already forming. Once inside, she provided us with listening devices with ear buds so that we could hear her clearly over the other guides in the crowded venue. We were very pleased with her knowledge of Versailles and the history of France and the events leading up to the French Revolution that she shared with us as she expertly guided us from room to room. She also provided us with an opportunity to enter and photograph the amazing gardens. During our return drive to Paris, our guide pointed out landmarks and made suggestions of other things we might be interested in doing and seeing while in Paris. Again, we were impressed with her ability to navigate Paris traffic and drop us off safely at our hotel. We were very happy with our experience.

Wonderful Experience in Versailles

Our half day bike tour of Versailles with JF was absolute perfection. The bike shop was easy to find, the tour office staff was friendly and welcoming, and the tour was structured well with a lot of interesting information about the grounds and the history of the chateau and gardens. The highlight was Marie Antoinette’s hamlet and the stories behind its purpose. JF was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend 10/10.
