Amazing experience with Francis

I took this tour one day ahead of a monster typhoon. Francis and her backend team were amazing. She was able to keep our group organized and getting from place to place. The bus was very comfortable, and her instructions on how to get back to the bus (in picture form) were super clear and appreciated! The stops were great and we'll worth seeing. I loved the lanterns, and Jiufen was beautiful. Due to the typhoon, we had to divert to another geological park - but this one was just as beautiful, and Francis always maintained a positive and can do attitude. We really appreciated her and this tour!

Quick trip to Hualien and Toroko Gorge

We really enjoyed it our guide Alex! He was funny and knowledgeable, patient and kind. It is worth getting up and out by 7:00 am to miss the traffic and people into the Gorge. He took us to a great local place for lunch and on a hike to a waterfall that was very memorable! We had to catch a train back to Taipei at 3:25 and he made sure we got where we needed to be in plenty of time! I would highly recommend this tour!

Awesome Experience with Dave!

I booked last minute and was so glad I did! Thanks to Dave for such an amazing experience. I really loved the bun and the ice cream. Dave also brought us to several historical sites such as a Buddhist temple and gave us the context and history which was much appreciated. I would definitely so this tour again if I ever find myself in Taiwan again.

Fantastic tour of Northern Taiwan with Roger! Visiting Jiufen, Yehliu Geopark, and Pingxi was an incredible experience. Each destination offered something unique, from stunning coastal scenery and fascinating rock formations to charming old streets and local culture. The itinerary was well planned, with plenty of time to explore and enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. A wonderful way to experience Northern Taiwan in one day. Highly recommended!

A packed day!

I'm so glad I booked this day trip! I was considering doing it solo by MRT and bus and it would've been such a hassle. I feel like I saw and did so much more in the comfort of a mini bus with AC which also saved my poor feet from another 25k step day. A great way to see Jiufen, Shifen, Yehliu Park, and have the (touristy) lantern experience.

Solo Traveler experience

Alan is a Great Guide - hopefully you will be with him ! I chose the English / Mandarin tour group rather than the English / German and got him … he explains every detail even how to get to the spa on the hotels ( which sometimes can be challenging ) showing in the bus pictures of what to do and what’s included ! That also reflects on the rest of the tour … and you may think it might be too much but he gives it a very light funny approach making all very so easy ! Everything is thought in detail … even meal options as those are not included ! It made it feel really easy … The group was also amazing everyone from different backgrounds but friendly and funny the whole 5 days … the only thing not so good is the price as they charge a lot for solo travelers making it less accessible but if you are travelling in two - it’s quite a bargain to be honest for all that’s included and the quality of accommodations and tour itself !

A day with our guide James

I enjoyed my day with James. He has a rich knowledge of Taiwan and Chinese history that made the tour more enjoyable. We got the 6 hour tour as we we didn’t know if we would last longer but we ended up going over an hour over time because we wanted to spend more time at the stops. Knowing this I would definitely recommend the full day tour.

Jack Chou did a wonderful...

Jack Chou did a wonderful job showing us around Taroko Gorge. Due to the 2024 earthquake, there are still limited times during which cars are allowed to pass through the roads. Jack navigated the times well and showed us what was currently viewable without any delays. He knows the sites for the good pictures even with current repairs being made.
