Just an incredible tour with Juho on his family's reindeer farm with nonstop highlights all morning - feeding the reindeer, watching Juho's father interact with the herd, enjoying homemade pancakes and berry jams made by Juho's mother Liisa, and getting to walk the adorable Noppe in the forest. Loved that White Winter Lapland is a working, non-touristy farm that lets their reindeer live as they wish without forcing them to do anything (even the walk), and that the family works the farm themselves and were happy to share nuggets on reindeer herding and life in Lapland with us. Would love to visit again some day!

Exceptional Norther Lights Hunt!

Had a fantastic time with Max and Mika last night hunting for the Northern Lights. It was a very clear night and the Auroras were predicted to come out so it was a pretty easy trip. But what I appreciated from Max was he always kept us updated as to what exactly we were doing, how long it would take us to get to his secret spot and when we stopped and reversed, he explained why his secret spot wasn’t too appropriate for us (snow was too thick). Instead we drove a few miles further to a desolate high road with a clear view of the skies and set up camp. Within minutes we saw faint lights which blossomed into huge Auroras that filled the sky and some that were right on top of us. Milka and Max were right there with their cameras constantly offering to take photos (sometimes multiple) to capture the moment. We stayed for over an hour until the lights faded then we headed back with Max and Milka handing out warm apple cider and cookies. I’ve hunted the Lights in Iceland previously with a little success. A lot of the trip really depends on Mother Nature and the Sun giving off its flares. But what made this trip nice was Max and Milka’s friendly manner, professionalism and smiling faces. I know they must do several trips a week but they made us feel like this trip was special. They are true representatives of the welcoming Finnish culture and I really enjoyed my night out. A few things that were confusing…Apple Maps gave a different location of the office. Luckily, I took an Uber and he dropped me off at the right office. It is crowded with multiple buses leaving at the same time but that’s a bit of a good thing as you can definitely find the office easily.

Most unique way to see the lights

It was so amazing, unique. I did as a surprise for my bf for his bday . Our travel guide , I believe his name Victoria, was so nice and play his part and told the other passengers to play along . On our way to the lake he stopped showed us the beautiful aurora lights , took pictures than we were off to . In the cabin he explained everything suited us up . He took videos and pictures each of us getting into the lake . Turned the lights off ( but he remained right on the dock ) so we have can see the light to the fullest. 😍😍 As coming out he helped me since I got stocked 😂 on the ice 😂. After taking the suit off we had hot tea , cookies . My bf had an amazing time ! These survival suits are fun to float in !! No water got in! Highly recommend this activity since it’s super unique!! 😍😍😍

Great experience ! The ride in the snowy forest was magical, so peaceful. Our 8yo daughter had been wanting to see and pet huskies for so long, and she was finally rewarded ! The dogs seem well taken care of, and ending the ride with a hot sausage in the yurt was a great conclusion for that experience.

We had our tour with Ali, who was exceptional. Ali, lived and breathed Aurora hunting, as he was determined to find an Aurora on an Aurora-less night. Incredible Husky Ride

This husky safari was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Our guide, Mika, was fantastic—he arrived right on time for pickup and made sure we were perfectly prepared by providing warm winter overalls. The ride itself was incredible and the highlight of our trip. One of the best parts was getting plenty of time after the sledding to hug and pet the huskies; they are so friendly and well-cared for. We ended the day around a cozy BBQ with hot drinks, marshmallows, and cookies before Mika dropped us back off. Truly a seamless and unforgettable day. Highlight of my trip!

Loved this excursion! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The reindeer park was very authentic and our guide there was genuine and experienced. The husky ride was a bit commercial but was such a cool experience regardless. The whole tour just the right amount of time, and not too strenuous. It was a small group size (there were 5 of us) so it felt more personal.

We had a wonderful experience today at the reindeer farm. Our guide and photographer were great and the sleigh ride was magical. Ale was our guide and he was amazing and kept us up to date. This was a perfect trip we went out in the morning and had a husky ride and reindeer ride then he messaged us for pick up in the evening for the aurora hunt unfortunately we didn’t see any but still had a good evening by the fire eating sausages and marshmallows.

We had an amazing time on this snowmobile tour! They picked us up directly from our Airbnb and took us to the snowmobiling location, which made everything super easy and stress-free. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Our guide, Joshua or Jose (don’t recall his name), was really cool—personable, fun, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Excellent setup. Efficient and well organized. Very fast and challenging too! Wife and small kids came along to watch and had marshmallows by fire with great people that work there. One tip. Non-participants just get a bolt (scandi uber) to the place rather than pay 15 euro for a spectator spot on the bus. Otherwise whole thing always great!!
