Bedouin Hospitality at it's best.

It was a wonderful tour in a small group of 8 people. Mohomad was our driver / tour guide. He was an excellent driver, very informative and great fun. We were invited into the homes of local people to use the facilities and for a Bedouin breakfast and a Bedouin lunch which was delicious. I advise travellers to bring cash - small monetary tips will make a huge impact on these families.

A Breathtaking Hot Air Balloon Experience in Marrakesh! What an incredible experience! From the moment we were picked up from our hotel, everything was perfectly organized. We arrived at the location, where we were welcomed with a lovely coffee before heading to the hot air balloon. The balloon ride itself was absolutely breathtaking! Seeing the beautiful landscapes of Marrakesh from above was truly unforgettable. After landing, we were treated to a lovely breakfast, which was the perfect way to finish the experience. The hotel pickup and drop-off were also very well organized, making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. My one recommendation for anyone booking: Choose the earliest available time slot so you can enjoy the magical sunrise while you’re up in the air. It’s definitely something worth experiencing! Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

We had a great day with Rida. Picked us up at the agreed pick up point and looked after us from beginning to end. Quads were brilliant, camels looked to be well cared for. Dinner was very good and fire show was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend if in Marrakesh.

It has been a great experience! Aissa is a very attentive guide and always willing to solve our needs. At dinner that night we believe there was a calculation error with the amount of food because it was little, but more than a complaint we leave it as a suggestion so that you can correct it. Apart from this, an excellent tour that everyone should do! Being in the desert is magical, we learned a lot about the Berbers and their customs. 🐪🏜️

A great day out

A great day out! Good communication prior to the trip with regards to pick up. Our bus guide Selma was excellent along with our driver. The trip included a stop at a traditional Berber house and then at an Argan oil cooperative. Onto the village where we were met by our hike guide who was friendly and informative. The hike itself took about 50 minutes or so each way. The paths are a mixture of steps and rough stone paths. Good pair of trainers ideal. Very steep in places but the guide was helpful offering his hand in the trickier parts. The path back was a little easier. Those with knee issues or walking difficulties might struggle on this hike but otherwise it was enjoyable with stunning views once we reached the top. Lunch was at one of the riverside restaurants with choices of starter, main and dessert. Good food and service. All in all a good day out and highly recommended.

Off we blew

It was an early start. We were collected before 05:00. The driver was friendly and the vehicle clean and well maintained. Despite only one other stop the drive was a good 40 minutes down every decreasing roads. The trip out into the bondu was in total darkness once we left the city but not overly rough despite the roads when passing. We reached the site and it was well presented in the dark, the lighting and buildings reminiscent of old airfield. Tea was served as all flyers arrived and the balloons were inflated. We were allocated our balloons and a compartment and climbed in. There was a safety briefing and the crew explained the flight. No smoking was stressed as the six large propane tanks didnt seem to be a bit of a clue for the hardened tabbers. We took off slowly and we were the last balloon from our area to get airbourne. The surrounding area had multiple sites all with balloons in various stages of inflation. The sunrise was unspectacular due to the haze , which also limited tge views of the mountains but it was still worth seeing. The crew kept us informed of the flights progress and altitude as well as what we could see. The whole thing was so still and quiet until the roar ofcthe propane burners. The biggest surprise was it was still quite warm and shorts and a sweat top was warm enough , though the burner did help too. We flew for just over an hour and slowly descended just before a dried out riverbed. We were told to adopt the landing position and as we hit first we were pounced upon by the team from the support vehicle , the sudden appearance of their hands and faces was a what the ......moment. They grabbed and supported the basket working to keep it upright till we were eventually stable and the balloon tethered to the land-rover. We had a few photos and the vans arrived to take us back to the balloon base for breakfast. The food was fruit, olives , eggs, bread and flatbread, with a mint tea. It was pleasant enough and again the team were warm and friendly. After breakfast we returned in the vans with the roads not quite as adventurous in daylight. So glad we did this. It came across as very well organised and delivered exactly what the advert said.

Super desert adventure!

We had an incredibly beautiful time on this tour and with Khalid a very attentive, friendly, and dedicated guide who always took good care of us and also planned sufficient breaks on the long drives. The absolute highlights were, of course, the camel ride through the sand dunes of the Sahara and the overnight stay in the tent, but also the visit to Ait Ben Haddou! The tent was extremely comfortably furnished. An unforgettable experience all around!

Very good value for money. Our guide's car broke down but a solution was found very quickly and there was no impact on our arrival time at the hot air balloons. Thanks to the drivers! Our pilot Elena was top-notch and took care of our two children. Her explanations were very clear and she is funny. A big thank you. Very good breakfast in the tent, very hearty. Good atmosphere. Our daughters' birthday celebrated with music. 15min camel ride as indicated in Tuareg attire. Very beautiful morning!
