Jeju Island excursion from cruise ship
This trip is amazing!! We were lucky to have an amazing tour guide, Haley, to take us. We had so many experiences, and yet the day did not seem rushed at all . Our first stop, sunrise peak, was amazing. We were pleased that we made the effort to climb to the top, as the views were wonderful. Our lunch was enjoyable....a nice chance to interact with other passengers while enjoying our food(rice wine was also unlimited, but we didn't partake!) We then went to Micheon cave. Also amazing!,& surrounded by beautiful gardens and also interesting dwellings. When taking us out walking, Haley ensured none of us got lost!! She gave great explanations on everything, nothing was too much trouble for her. I feel we got a wonderful insight into what life was like on Jeju historically, and also currently. We also had a stop at some markets, with time to explore, and shop if we wished. I would highly recommend this trip, and our guide Haley, to anyone wanting a comprehensive, enjoyable day tour of Jeju Island

Jeju Mama was the best tour guide
Jeju Mama (Elin) was the absolute best tour guide. She was very easy to understand, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. She did a great job at getting everybody involved in the traditional games and everybody seemed to have a great time. Definitely one of the best tour guides we've ever had out of any country we've visited.

Peter went above and beyond - fantastic tour!
We were a group of 5 women and our guide for the day on the Jeju tour was Peter. He was so good at English and communication was very easy. We had an ambitious itinerary for the day - he not only guided us but stretched himself and made it happen for us! He told us so many stories about Jeju and its history and was always very patient and helpful when it came to recommendations on where to eat, spots for a quick scenic stop over etc … we came away with beautiful memories of Jeju island, thanks to Peter! Highly recommend this tour !!!!

Compared to the South Korean mainland, Jeju Island may look relatively small. It’s the country’s largest island, though, and it’s a very popular tourist destination for locals and foreign tourists alike. The volcanic terrain lends itself to a variety of outdoor adventures, and the itineraries of most Jeju tours reflect this. There are mountains to explore, as well as waterfalls, lakes, beaches, caves, and surreal lava tubes left by the underwater volcano eruption that created the island some 2 million years ago. You may also get to visit a tea museum for a taste of what can come from such rich volcanic soil.
