We visited the Prater Park in Vienna on a Sunday morning during the summer, and it was an excellent experience. Going early was the perfect choice because we completely avoided the crowds and the hot midday weather. The park itself is beautiful and very well preserved. The ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel offered wonderful, panoramic views of Vienna. It was a great, relaxing time with the family, and I highly recommend a morning visit!
Easy enough to use the Viator voucher. You do have to wait in line to get your ticket but it was very easy. Cute experience- similar to the London eye!
This is a very smooth riding Ferris wheel. The cars hold a dozen people. The ride is just one revolution, but slow enough to enjoy the view.
It was so hot and the ride was floating in the hot sun
So we ended up not going on this ride which was very disappointing 😞
I was worried that the ride might be jerky and a bit rough but it was very smooth. You almost could not feel it going around. You could stand and move around the car with no concern. Even you are intimidated by heights this ride will not be scary to you!
Giant Ferris wheel was a lovely addition to our trip. You can have your photo taken and there are several carriages as you walk to get on the ferris wheel each carriage has models and scenery
Really a must experience in Vienna! Although in all fairness purchasing tickets in advance did not enable us to skip the ticket line
It says on voucher we can use the scan code to get in but the scan did not work
I had to stay on a 45 min long line to show the voucher . It still did not work so the counter person to avoid the long line delay , he just printed the tickets ( SIX) for us.
So what’s the point to buy these tickets online with Viator in advanced if I have to stay on a regular ticket line to purchase ??

Tremendous view over the city. The wheel is about 8l0 years old and the experience is well organised. I think we qued for about 8 minutes
Anytime ticket. No real queues and great to travel on an iconic landmark. Prior to embarking their is a mini museum type affair with animated characters and scenes contained in carriages.
Great time and beautiful views. The line was very short and had no issues. Options to get photos prior but we chose not to
the ticket was not valid at the entrance, so I had to join the line, that is all I* have to say at this moment
Spectacular views and great memories when you take a ride on the Riesenrad in VIENNA’s Prater Park. The wait time was short and you have the option of purchasing photos of your experience. Prices are very reasonable. Fun for adults and kids.
It was not what I expected. The ride was nice but wasn’t did not meet my expectations as it was short and the views weren’t very good.
Excellent. Experience was second to none brilliant. Well organised and it ran very smoothly. The photos taken were well received and all the staff were extremely helpful.
The ticket did not work; no one would help us; they were very rude/abrupt. When we ask for help, we were told to go to the back of the line, which was very long.
First I had to wait on a line for a ticket, then when I got to the counter the ticket agent had no idea what he was looking at. He stated he’s never seen this before and that I had to buy new tickets to this. My daughter wanted to go on so I did.
We went up during a blizzard but it one of the iconic things to do the third man was filmed here a nice ride and a link with past
Skip-the-line didn't work, lady in ticket ofice was a little dumbfounded by what to do with Viator ticket.
Ride itself was good, we were lucky to have a lovely clear day.

Other than buying the ticket in advance, we still had to stand in a line to get an actual paper ticket. The scanner did not recognize your barcode.
A must-do experience in Vienna, and pretty much lived up to the hype. Great views and slow enough so you have time to take it in.

Wheel is iconic and a must do in Vienna. Skip the line is inaccurate as you have to join the line to exchange vouchers for tickets.
An amazing experience seeing Vienna from the top. Brings back memories of seeing the film The Third Man

The Vienna ferris wheel is a fantastic experience,and I would recommend a ride on it to anyone.It is amazing that it has withstood the test of time.
Bit out of the way and there is so much steel and carriage around you you don’t get too much of a view. The downloaded ticket did NOT let you skip any lines either.
A lovely experience if only too quickly over. Despite covid, the staff were polite and inviting and on top of cleanliness, cleaning the cars between visitor. Would love to do it again one day. Highly recommended.
I issued tickets for 28/07... Giant wheel was closed in that day... Can't reach the customer service in order to get my money back...
