This is a great chance to...
This is a great chance to sample a variety of Austrian foods, while learning a bit about the history of the area, both food related and more general interest. I recommend you take this tour early in your stay to enhance your enjoyment. In addition to our many stops, other special places were pointed out, so we left with additional suggestions. We enjoyed everything we tasted on the tour.

Come Hungry — You Won’t Leave That Way!
My mum (70) and I (39) were in Vienna for the weekend from the UK and wanted to experience the tastes of Vienna — and we definitely did! After four delicious courses and a drink, with much-needed walks between stops, we practically rolled back to the hotel. We were in a group of seven others — three couples and one solo traveller — and it was a really good mix of ages, nationalities and personalities. Ana, our guide, was lovely: warm, engaging, and full of knowledge about the food and the city. The tour felt relaxed and friendly. A great way to explore Vienna through its food, and something I’d highly recommend.

Schoenbrunns Finest as a tour guide!!
Gabby was a heartful guide who was born 5 minutes from the palace and grew up playing in the gardens. Her knowledge and love of the palace and the Hapsburg family was extraordinary and infectious. This is a super tour of a gorgeous palace and magnificent garden.

Michael brings the city of Vienna to life
This is a must do early in your trip to Vienna, it gives a great geographical and historical grounding of the city which we found really helpful for everything else we did during our time in Vienna. It was also very reasonably priced for the amount of time and quality information Michael shared with us in a really engaging manner. He paced his walking and talking really well. We were never too rushed or finding things dragging. There was ample time to take photos of anything that interested you. We got ear pieces to help us hear all that he was saying throughout the two hours. This worked really well particularly as we were part of a big group of about 36 people. Michael also had a good sense of humour which we appreciated and he was a great storyteller-the time flew in! Couldn't recommend the tour and him highly enough!!

Walking is the best way to explore the pedestrian-friendly capital of Austria. Vienna walking tours are available for a variety of time frames and interests. You can spend as little as an hour with a guide who will point out not only key sightseeing highlights but also favorite restaurants and shops. Or choose a longer excursion that delves into the city’s cuisine, history, music, or even haunted locales. There are also private walking tours geared toward families and itineraries that cover the world-famous Christmas markets.
