Excellent tour well organized and our guide was well informed and really new his stuff. It was very interesting and our guide made the whole tour a worthwhile experience and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone with an interest in WW2 Vienna. The experience was further enhanced by the earpieces and communication devices, which made it very easy to enjoy our guides commentary.

An amazing tour with pertinent history, at least the history I wanted to know about. Very detailed information on the various rooms and of the gardens. A lot of walking but so well worth it. I forgot our guide’s name but remembered she was from Vienna but lived in South Africa so her accent was different. She was amazing! She took great care of us. We even had audio which came in handy.

Magdeleine was amazing! We sampled sweets at four locations, learned more about the city and navigated to some very interesting neighborhoods outside the city center, and had a great time. This helped us push out of our comfort zone and limited exposure to Vienna outside the city center, without feeling like it was a lot of travel. Great variety of fancy / homey / classic dessert styles, with a surprise savory as well. Cannot recommend more!

This walking food tour exceeded every expectation. Our guide, Elisaveta, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about Vienna’s food and history. She wove together local stories with each tasting stop, making the city come alive in a way we never would have experienced on our own. The tastings themselves were fantastic, from the iconic Käsekrainer at the Wurstlestand to the classic Wiener Schnitzel and goulash, right through to the indulgent Kaiserschmarren and a schnapps tasting in a centuries old emporium. Every stop felt authentic, not touristy, and the portions left us pleasantly full without feeling rushed. Elisaveta’s energy and expertise truly made the experience. She answered every question, gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip, and made the whole group feel welcome. We can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re visiting Vienna, this is an absolute must do!

It is recommended to al visitors in Vienna, to have a realistic picture on the society and costumes of the past centuries, not only a description of historic facts or architectures. We appreciated a lot the narration about the relation between Francesco Giuseppe and his wife, that is distorted by the well known movie. We had a great time with our tour leader. She was a culinary student and very knowledgable about the food scene in Vienna. She was also a great ambassador for the city and was able to compare it to other cultures since she has lived in multiple other countries.

Truly wonderful, professional musicians who played Mozart (of course!) in period costumes, Haydn, a lovely Dvorak quartet with a soulful cello part, a bit of Bach and an encore featuring the violist. The music and musicians were outstanding. Not to be missed!

Brigitte was such a delight when touring us around the Christmas markets in Vienna. She was very knowledgeable and we appreciated her little tidbits of history throughout the night. She was very engaging and personable. Not many tour guides care to ask for the individual names of their clients, but Brigitte made sure that was the first thing she found out when she met us! She was very patient while we were walking and we aren’t used to walking in Vienna’s winter weather, so it was nice to feel like we weren’t being rushed around. Brigitte is aware that some of Vienna’s sights and happenings are being catered to the increased tourism in the city, so she made sure to show us and bring us to places that exhibited the authenticity of Viennese way of life. Before leaving us for the night, Brigitte made sure to give us specific directions for the quickest route back to our AirBnB where she met us. Would definitely recommend for future tours!!
