Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew his history and he made the ride enjoyable. At times, with the noise of traffic and other groups, it was hard to hear.

Anita, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the of the city centre. After the tour she recommended places to visit, cafes, museums and restaurant which was really handy. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city and want a quick way to see the main sights on 2 wheels.

Great way to see highlights of historic Vienna. Easy biking the whole tour. Anita, our guide was great. So much history and surrounded by such beauty.

....Vienna :-)

Morning tour of busy beautiful Vienna- 6 km - with frequent stops (a dozen or so) to show top sights of center city. Our guide Othelia was pleasant and knowledgeable but spoke very softly - even when asked to speak louder-making it hard to learn what she was trying to share with our group. She might consider using a speaker or stopping only at quiet spots.
We could not take the pm park/ quieter area tour but probably should have.

It’s a rain or shine tour so be ready! We went on a cold day but still had a great tour. Although I wish I brought a beanie! David was fun and very engaging. We learned a lot about the history of Vienna and saw so many different sights. If you are worried about traffic and riding bikes on busy city streets - don’t. We mostly rode on designated bike paths so it was fine. That said, you do need to watch for traffic signals. Don’t feel like you need to run a red light to stay with the group. They will wait for you.

thank you Larry very much :-)) !!

This is an activity that is not too demanding physically. Tremendous way to see Vienna. This tour guide as well was outstanding.

It was a wonderful way to see the old city of Vienna. The guide was very knowledgeable and was willing to answer any questions.
Andrew_F, Sep 2025
No ride along the Danube. The guide knew her stuff but you can walk around the bike tour path. Bikes were very ordinary.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our Vienna bike tour.
You're absolutely right that our tour description doesn't mention cycling to the Danube, as our Vienna Highlights tour focuses specifically on the historic city center. The Danube is located several kilometers outside the center, while Vienna's main attractions are conveniently clustered within the compact historic district. Our route is designed to efficiently cover the most significant highlights while still providing a proper cycling experience of approximately 10 kilometers.
We appreciate your comment about our guide's knowledge - our local Viennese guides take pride in sharing authentic insights about the city. Regarding the bikes, we use reliable city bikes that are well-suited for navigating Vienna's historic streets and ensuring a comfortable ride for all fitness levels.
We understand that different travelers have different expectations, and we're always working to improve our tours. Your feedback helps us continue to provide the best possible experience for our guests.
We hope you still enjoyed discovering Vienna's beautiful city center, and thank you again for choosing My Vienna Tours.
Best regards,
David Pokorny

A very informative and beautiful bike ride with our guide Guta around the city area of Vienna. We Would certainly recommend the tour if first time visiting the city.

Anita was a great tour guide. There were many bicyclists - we were
separated by language spoken (I was English). My group had 7 people. The ride was a little over 3 hours and we saw quite a bit (alas, I don't remember it all). The pace was fine. We rode in designated bike lanes but sometimes with relatively slow traffic. There were no hills, some minor rising roads. The bikes were solid road bikes - we were fitted before the start. I used a helmet.

We have done numerous European city bike tours. Most have been excellent. This tour was fine but not excellent.
Too many people in the tour. And consequently people were getting “lost” and we delayed to collect them.
We effectively started at 10:30 (the start time was 10). The individual guiding the tour was nice but was not unduly insightful.
I was exceptionally surprised that they did not have helmets available. At least we were not offered one. I have never been on a bike tour where they did not make helmets available.
The tour was not bad but it was not great.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our bike tour. We truly appreciate your honest review.
We have a large cabinet full of helmets right in our shop that are completely free for all our guests to use - they're right there for the taking. I'm not sure how this was missed, but I'm glad you brought it to our attention.
Regarding the group size, our tours can accommodate up to 15 participants, and it sounds like your group was at that capacity. Your points about people getting lost and the delays are well taken - we always aim to start our tours on time and keep the group together. Your feedback helps us improve how we manage larger groups.
Should you find yourself back in Vienna in the future, I'd love to give you another chance to experience My Vienna Tours - with a helmet, of course, and hopefully a much better overall experience!
Best regards,
David Pokorny

The bike tour offered a good introduction to Vienna, but I felt it could benefit from better pacing and a clearer narrative thread. At times the focus leaned too heavily on government history, which made the tour harder to follow and less engaging. A more cohesive storyline that connects the stops would help bring the city’s culture and atmosphere to life. The guide’s English was generally understandable, though not always smooth, which occasionally added to the difficulty in following along. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience, but with some adjustments, it could be much more impactful.

Was informative and guide was knowledgeable and friendly . Was a small group so it was really nice ..
louise_r, Aug 2025
Great city tour experience with very knowledgeable guide, saw many cultural buildings and sights across the city, although you do need your wits about you to navigate the main roads and cycle lanes etc
Lisa_H, Aug 2025
We have done a lot of bike tours around the world, it is our favorite way to see the cities. Loved biking around Vienna but tour was too much talking and less getting around the city. Too heavy on state buildings, wish we could have seen more cultural locations.
Alexa_S, Jun 2025
Such a great way to see Vienna. You hit all the must-sees and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. Overall, definitely a highlight of my trip, would 100% recommend!
Kimberly_D, Jun 2025
Hits major landmark locations. Vienna is the perfect place to do a bike tour - very bike friendly. Our guide Marcelo was knowledgeable and made sure we had water & bathroom breaks!
Gary_S, Jun 2025
Great couple hours on a bike around Vienna. We were shown several buildings around town and the large park.
Amanda_A, Jun 2025
The bike tour offered a lovely way to experience Vienna, with a scenic and enjoyable route through the city. It was a great opportunity to see multiple neighborhoods from a different perspective and enjoy a relaxed ride.
However, the tour could be improved with stronger leadership and more informative commentary. It was often difficult to hear the guide while riding, and clearer direction and pacing would have helped the group stay more cohesive and confident about where we were going. Additionally, the historical context provided felt overly generalized and missed opportunities to delve into the rich and complex history of Vienna.
Overall, a nice way to spend time outdoors and get a feel for the city, but there is room to enhance both the structure and educational value of the experience.

Karin was an exceptional ambassador to Vienna and Austria! Highly recommend this tour! Great introduction to Vienna!

We had a most wonderful time! Anita was well versed in great historical information and she was fun as well! I don't ride bikes often so I was a little shaky starting but by the end of the tour I felt like a pro! Highly recommend!!

This is not a strenuous cycle by any means. Anyone could do this.

Informative tour - a good way to get an overview of Vienna before exploring on our own. Fritz was an excellent guide.
Carmel_S, Dec 2024
Very informative tour with a great guide. Bicycles were good quality and we saw a lot of the city. It was December and cold as expected but we had a lovely stop for warm drinks.
Katherine_R, Oct 2024
Such a cool tour! Our guide, Anita, was so knowledgeable and funny. She gave a great historical overview and also shared quirks/cultural insights as a local. We stopped for coffee for example at a small stand at a park that was the best coffee I had on my whole trip! I’m NOT a bike rider and I was completely comfortable riding around the city.
