We checked in early. The ship loaded on time and embarked exactly on time. The employees were very courteous and professional. Our waitress was great. She quickly took our order and started getting our food. The sights were great. Again the ship was exactly on time every step of the way. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Good tour for three money.

Perfect experience in Sydney. A must-do for tourists and locals. We had beautiful weather for our sunset cruise. Plenty of photo opportunities on the deck in front of the harbour bridge or opera house. Dinner was lovely. Be sure to get a window seat for best viewing. Totally recommended!

We could not have asked for a better table view!!! We were greeted with smiles and friendly assistance. We departed as timed. The meal was good and good service.!! We had Erin as our waiter and he was friendly and patient!! We returned on time but was offered to delay out departure if we desired to second drop off. The sights were awesome!!! Couldn't have a better seat to see Sydney!!! I would highly r recommend Harbor dinner cruise!!'

Dinner Cruise on Sydney Harbour

Bee_J, May 2026
We boarded the Captain Cook Cruises for a night around Sydney Harbour. We were greeted by smiling and very helpful staff. It was a clear night so the sunset was very clear and pink skies through the clouds. The menu was very nice as I had the Salmon for Entree and also the Salmon for a main. The cruise passed all the sites of the harbour but I believe through the Vivid Light show the harbour would come to life.

It's ok

Denise_M, May 2026
It definitely does not compare to the Captain Cooks dinner cruise in Perth. Night and day comparison. The Perth one was nice. The Sydney experience.... food not so good, entertainment not so good and they charged us for juice with our upgraded dinner.

Find a different cruise

Diane_R, May 2026
It was pretty much sub par. We could have been in an airport waiting room The only positive was our server Sabena

Good and service was excellent. Lovely views of the city while dining: very peaceful and relaxing. The dinner music was very good, and just the right volume to enjoy but not impede conversation. Well done!

Yay !!

MARTHA_B, Apr 2026
The Sunset Cruise was a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth doing. The boat departed on time and returned as scheduled, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The only issue I encountered was with the departure point. We were initially told to leave from Wharf 1, but the departure was moved to Wharf 2 without timely communication, which caused some confusion. Improving this aspect would make the experience even better. Other than that, it was a really good experience overall, and I would recommend it.

Excellent

Joseph_T, Apr 2026
Excellent dinner cruise, beautiful sunset, dinner was great. Recommend this trip to anyone traveling to Sydney, Australia

Great way to celebrate a birthday

Sharon_N, Apr 2026
Great food only complaint was the music was to loud for dinner music, it was more a concert which made it hard to have a conversation

Expensive and mediocre

Carrie_E, Apr 2026
For the cost of this less than 2 hour dinner cruise, we felt it way over priced at $360.00 Canadian. The food was fine but nothing special, same with the service. Drinks were an additional cost. When we left Circular Quay harbor for the dinner cruise, we were only out in the water for about 10 minutes and then we pulled into another harbor to pick up more people which wasted about 20 minutes of just sitting on the boat waiting to get out for the harbor tour. So our tour then became 1 hour and 25 minutes instead of 1 hour and 45 minutes. By the time we got out to the open water part, there really wasn't much sunset left and it went dark, where you couldn't see anything out the window, so paying extra for a window seat seemed useless. There were long waits between each course which was fine, but we think they were trying to fill the time because with it being dark and windy, you couldn't stand outside and see anything anyways. I guess it helped to stretch out the time for the dinner. Knowing what we know now, we would have preferred to do the lunch cruise or just an afternoon harbor cruise so at least you could see something. When we finally came back at the end of the cruise and went by the Opera House, taking pictures through the water stained window was almost impossible. The pictures just had a reflection of the inside of the boat. It was an expensive 1 hour and 45 minutes and definitely not worth the money. We would have been better to do a simple harbor tour in the afternoon and go to a nice restaurant for dinner somewhere in Sydney.

Excellent tour!

The Sydney Harbour dinner cruise was the best we've ever been on. Perfect service, fabulous food and beautiful music to cruise to.

Chris_H, Apr 2026
Great views of the city. Large vessel. We'll prepared and very tasty dinner dishes We've been on other dinner cruises and this by far was the best. We upgraded and paid for the window seats. I think that was well worth it. Would do this again if we had the time.

Meet at Wharf 1. It was not clear in the information we had about where to meet and there are several wharfs along the bay. Otherwise the tour was great with good food and views.

Make sure you go to upper deck for fantastic views. The service is very good . It made for a nice evening experience.

Sunset Dinner Cruise on Sydney Harbor

rhfuglaar, Apr 2026
The sunset dinner cruise on Sydney Harbor was a cruise we will not forget. The sunset on the Sydney Harbor was beautiful. We could not have asked for better weather. But the dinner was not that great. Very Bland. Selection of entrees was slim. And the appetizer there was not much of a choice. Dessert was OK. Do not go on the dinner cruise for the food but for the sunset.

The Thomas Cook Sunset...

Gil_E, Apr 2026
The Thomas Cook Sunset Dinner Cruise is a well-coordinated dinner experience for its guests. Well-curated cuisines were readily served, Wines and spirits were aplenty. Personnel of various origins were very nice and efficient in delivering a common service package. But the clincher was the mesmerizing view of the Sydney sunset, filled with stunning colors. The cruise slowly crawls the span of the bay for one to enjoy the evening breeze and the bright lights of the city skylines.

You Must See Sydney by Boat!

Carl_V, Apr 2026
You must see Sydney via a harbor tour. This one was great because it included a sunset dinner. We paid extra and got a window seat so I could take lots of pictures.

Great dinner cruise

Dolores_F, Apr 2026
The dinner was very nice. Did not include drinks 🍹. But service was very good and they had live music which was very good
