Lovely Day Adventure Out of Sydney

This was such a fun day! My husband and I decided to book this excursion so we could get out of Sydney for one day of our vacation. We went in with no real expectations and we were blown away by the whole experience. Stuart picked us up right from our hotel (Paradox, and they have a few other direct pickup/dropoffs). We were the last to join the group (14 total) before hitting the road. Stuart spent the 2-hour drive up to the vineyards telling us about the area, its history, cracking some jokes, and telling us stories of his experiences in the area. He was a gem! We went to 2 boutique wineries that had amazing tasting rooms and the friendliest staff ever, then stopped at a country club for lunch where we got to see some wild kangaroos grabbing a drink from a water feature on the golf course, then made it over to a cheese tasting for a nice (and needed) break from drinking before heading to a final vineyard. The last vineyard had an entire mob of kangaroos jumping through their rows of grapes. It was quite a sight! We blew a tire on our way back to Sydney and appreciated Stuart even more for keeping everyone calm and laughing as we waited only 30 minutes for a tire change. You want Stuart as your guide if anything crazy were to happen! The small group we went with all ended up having such a great time together. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a little adventure out of Sydney for a day!

HVT - A must for a day in the Wine Valley

100% recommend HVT - We had such a great time on our full day tour. The people we met were amazing, our driver was fully of quirky facts and always good for a laugh, and even took us to a bonus viewpoint at sunset. If you want bang for buck for a day in the Hunter Valley, this is the ONLY way to do it!

Two Fat Blokes will make your Hunter Valley wine experience a special event.

Cannot go wrong with the Two Fat Blokes Experience. From the time we were greeted by Greg our driver in an air conditioned bus on a very hot day it was such an enjoyable day. First stop was First Creek where host Allie made us comfortable and his knowledge of wine was very informative. Second stop was Pokolbin Estate where our host Lisa made our tasting experience special with wine accompanied with chocolate. The next stop was Two Fat Blokes where we enjoyed a generous lunch box with a glass of wine. Hosted by Greg our driver and his great sense of humour and knowledge. Next was Oakvale another great experience with a very animated host. Finally we enjoyed Latitude 32 winery which was equal to the experience of the other wineries. Finally we were returned to our accommodation after a five star day of great company and excellent wines. Would definitely recommend Two Fat Blokes and will enjoy them next time we visit the Hunter Valley.

Everything was great, customer service was second to none, great hospitality, place is clean and tidy, toilet facilities available. Declan was such a great person to know with great expertise in the wine industry. All wines were delicious with a unique taste. I would have preferred if there was more variety of cheese to taste, but overall highly recommended.

Fun activity for kids while parents enjoy wine tasting and charcuterie board

This experience was reasonably price in a lovely location. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The tasting serves and charcuterie board were generous and we were offered other wines to taste. The kids loved having their own non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to taste. There were well priced wines and various gifts to purchase but no sales pressure at all. Highly recommended.

Our wine, chocolate and food tour was absolutely great!! The people giving the tours and wine tastings were very knowledgeable and polite! Steve our tour guide/driver was extremely polite, knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and was helpful in every way possible!! My wife and I booked this tour in a way to join the tour in. Newcastle not in Sydney and we were met at our pick up location right on schedule and Steve made sure to help arrange our pick up in a timely manner to get back to our ship on time.
