Our guide was excellent! Our guide provided us a little history of Porto which made us appreciate the place & food even more. Not only was he knowledgeable but entertained us with his magic tricks! Our group surely loved him. The food & places he took us was superb!!!

Thiago was a fantastic guide who took us to such wonderfully authentic spots to experience real Portuguese food, wine, and culture. It was so much fun! A ton of laughs, great conversation, and excellent wine. Having a great group of tourists to share the evening with was the perfect finishing touch. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend this tour.
Thiago was an amazing, friendly knowledgable and most of all fun as the host. Our group got to try plenty of dishes, hear about the city and taste various different drinks in spots I’d never have went to on my own. I would highly reccomend and if you are lucky enough to have Thiago lead your tour you have struck gold 🙌
This was a really great tour. Marta, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and took us to great places we probably would not known to find otherwise.
I’ve been on many waking food tours across Europe however this one falls way below standard. It was so poor that we left after 1 hr 10 mins. Our first stop involved a very tiny amount of food and the second stop was at a sports bar with football on screens everywhere which does not constitute as an authentic, hidden gem! Our host was pleasant but the whole tour felt slow, lack lustre and poor value for money.
The reviews all seemed really good hence booking this tour but we left sadly disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate all guest insights, and we are glad to hear that you found our guide to be pleasant during your time with us.
We were, however, quite surprised to read your review, as it seems there is a misunderstanding regarding your early departure. When you left the tour after just 1 hour and 10 minutes, you kindly informed our guide that you needed to leave early to meet your husband. We later received a refund request on Viator from you citing unexpected/medical circumstances reason. While we completely understand that travel plans can change, leaving so early meant you only participated in 2 out of our 5 planned stops.
Because our food tours are designed as a progressive culinary journey, the portions are thoughtfully paced across the entire itinerary. The first stops are meant to be light introductions. Unfortunately, by leaving before the main portions of the tour, you missed the vast majority of the food and the true rhythm of the experience, making it difficult to fairly evaluate the overall value.
Regarding the second stop at Espaço 77, we include this venue precisely because it is deeply authentic. An authentic local experience isn't always a polished "hidden gem", it is also about seeing where real locals actually gather in their daily lives to socialize and watch a football match. It is designed to be a brief, genuine immersion into local culture rather than the focal point of the tour. For guests seeking a more refined culinary focus rather than a rustic, everyday local atmosphere, our Gourmet Tour is specifically tailored for that preference and might have been a better match for what you were looking for.
Our guides are always dedicated to ensuring our guests have a wonderful time. Had you shared your dissatisfaction with the experience during the tour rather than mentioning a family meet-up as your reason for leaving, our guide would have been more than happy to explain the upcoming stops and ensure you were enjoying the pace.

Our walking tour with Granado was the highlight of our trip to Porto . He was brilliant … full of information fascinating facts and very entertaining . . It was a great evening taking in several bars and restaurants all of which told a story about Porto and Portuguese cuisine and drinks . Wonderful experience! Great value for the money. Good variety of foods, wine 🍷 and beer 🍻. Very informative. There is a bit of walking. Definitely would suggest comfortable shoes.

This was a fabulous evening experience in Porto. Our guide, Flavia, did a wonderful job showing us the neighborhood around where we met and took us to 5 spots where we sampled authentic Portuguese cuisine paired with regional wines and beers. It was the perfect mix of food and alcohol, and there was no need to have dinner afterwards. I highly recommend this experience.

This was an overall terrific experience with lots of food and lots of wine as well as some beer. It was a bit alcohol forward which I welcomed. Our guide Granado was terrific and very knowledgeable, especially about wine. I thought the tour overall was very well done and worth the cost and time.

Super local tour of a variety of small and varied stops to sample local wines, ports, beers and lots of delish bites. We had 5 stops on our tour and our guide Thiago was enthusiadtic, knowledgeable snd create a nice bind with our group.
