What are people saying about Burano

Great service for everyone!
The two guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging. The first guide explained the landmarks in and around Venice as we rode in a comfortable boat to Murano and Burano. The second guide explained the glassblowing and led us through an amazing showroom of Murano glass. There were 3 people on the tour that spoke neither Italian nor English. No problem for both guides. They would then explain again in a third language, Spanish. Trilingual guides. Great service for everyone!

The wonders of Venice in 1 Day!
The tour is a long one (9+ hours) but you do a lot! You get to tour the inside of St Marks Basilica and the Doge Palace along with trips to Murano (Glass Blowing Demonstration) and Burano (Cute island town with colorful homes and Lace making demonstration) along with a Gondola ride!

Nice excursion
This was a good way to see Venice and surrounding islands from the water. Murano and Burano are most interesting.

Fabulous way to see sites outside of Venice center
What a special trip! The boat was gorgeous, our driver Marco was fabulous and our guide, Giovanni was amazing. We loved everything about this tour. The glass blowers in Murano were creating one-of-a-kind pieces that were spectacular and it was fun and mesmerizing to watch them being created. Of course we had to take a piece home with us! Burano was adorable and colorful. Loved every minute of this tour!!

Burano
  • A boat trip to Burano is a must for photography buffs, who will love capturing the vibrant colors.

  • Venice island tours require getting on and off a boat, so confirm wheelchair and stroller accessibility ahead of time.

  • Burano lace, like Murano glass, is made entirely by hand and is very expensive. Don't be fooled by cheap industrial knock-offs sold at many souvenir shops.

  • The island's main street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and restaurants.
