A busy wonderful day

The First Capital of Spain

The meeting point was not easily identified but by asking some of the professionals wearing Big Bus Shirts we were able to get to the correct spot. The bus seats were a bit tight, but the ride to Toledo is quick. Once in Toledo the Tour Guides are super nice and very professional. The walking tour is very helpful to understand the Cultural History and significance of Toledo’s architecture and design. The city is incredible, reminded me of Siena in Italy. The food is good, especially the Iberian Ham.

Fantastic experience

We had a fantastic day with Alex, our tour guide. It was pouring rain most of the day and he went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted, while trying his best to keep us dry. The weather derailed our plans for lunch on the beach but he ended up taking us to this small family owned restaurant that had the most amazing food and wine. Honestly, I think this worked out so much better. If you are looking for a tour, with a guide who will make it an amazing experience, I highly recommend.

Secret Treasure!

Do not miss this tour! It is one of the most stunning sights in Spain. Everything on this tour is worth the twelve hours. It is nicely laid out with breaks and time on and off the bus. Adrian our tour guide was fulll of knowledge and kept it lively and engaging! My favorite tour so far!

Wonderful!

Our tour guide, Roger was wonderful. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well on the way to Monserrat and had to return to Barcelona without continuing in to Girona or Casto Brava. Roger helped me find the correct train and even arranged for a taxi for me when I got off the train. Then, in the evening he checked on me to see if I was feeling better. I hope next time I am in Barcelona and can take the full trip. It started out so beautifully!

Anatoli was our wonderful...

Anatoli was our wonderful guide. He's knowledgeable, kind, patient, smart, and a good sense of humor. It was a beautiful clear day and being on top of Monserrat allowed for spectacular views. The church was so interesting...unlike any I'd ever seen. In person, Sagrade Familia was remarkable. Your eyes don't know what to land on...there are so many things to see and marvel at the inginuity.

Wonderful afternoon in Montserrat

An amazing outing an hour out of Barcelona. We were spoilt with information about the history of Montserrat by our guide Sophia. The monastery was a great experience and the village had so much to offer. Enjoyed the liqueur tastings and bought a significant amount of these from the local vendors. The Sunday afternoon slot also ensured that it was not too busy.

The tour was great and the guide explained everything very well. The language we had chosen was English and the guide explained everything in Spanish first and English. We covered all the locations in Toledo and managed to walk through the city center and explore even the smallest locations.

One of a kind. Never cliche. The snow capped mountains may be gone soon

Nature and outdoors. The tour showcases not only its rich and vast valleys. Up and down winding narrow dirtroads, there are flora that thrive in the wild - rosemary, chammomile, margaritas and thyme. As an Asian,it was my first time to see how an almond tree with its fruits looked like. In the valley, there are aqueducts built by the French. Science and physics were applied then - I figired out how water can travel from one source to another. The alps are just as majestic. Though thinned because of global warming, the snow capped mountains, up close bear a light hie of red - dust blown away from the Sahara Desert. The sunset is so beautiful. Our tour guide Jaime, was really good.
