What are people saying about Sorrento

An authentic Sorrento experience not to be missed!
Fantastic evening with a lovely family clearly dedicated to excellent customer service introducing us to their farm. From the greeting at garage pickup by Francesco to the warm reception by daughter Anna we were made to feel like part of the family. The pizza making was so fun thanks to Anna’s direction and her father’s enthusiasm. Momma made an appearance who made the tomato sauce and other ingredients. Exceptional in every way.

From beginning to end a wonderful experience! The brothers who give the tours were informative and hilarious! Family owned and the mama and papa are the sweetest! Mama cooked us a fantastic lunch while we were touring, papa gave us food to feed the animals.. if you get the chance… Go !

Blue Grotto Tour
Even though the Blue Grotto was closed due to water conditions, Luigi compensated by bringing us to the capri chair lift early enough that we did not have to do any lines or deal with big crowds. After, We made a stop at one of the capri shopping centers, crowded but enjoyable. Finalized by a ship tour around the Grotto and capri, so in reality we did not miss anything. They made sure we were all satisfied. The guide and the ferries were very well organized and we all made it back as scheduled.

Wonderful pasta cooking class. Great set up in a large area with a very helpful chef/instructor. It was easy and a lot of fun. Our experience with Viator was excellent. We had travel issues (unrelated to Viator) prior to getting to the class and Viator reps were in constant communication with us by text, chat, and phone trying to help us resolve them. Highly recommend both the class and Viator.

Situated between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is a gateway to Southern Italy that’s well worth exploring on its own. Admire the town’s artisan shops and seaside views with a local guide, then visit a lemon grove to taste limoncello made with Sorrento’s famed citrus. You can also hire a boat to Capri, swimming and snorkeling until the sun sets, or hop between the picturesque villages on the Amalfi Coast by boat or car. Yet another option is to hike the Path of the Gods, a cliffside trail with sweeping vistas of the colorful coastline and Bay of Naples.
