A well-spent day
On the day tour everything went according to plan. Svet, the guide is a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
The hike to the cave was amazing in October, the nature was beautiful. It was a 15-20 minute walk on a rocky path, you need proper shoes.
If you take part in all the programs, you should bring packed lunch with you, there is no time for restaurants. It wasn’t a problem, just good to know. However, you can buy doughnuts and hot chocolate after the monastery tour. That was awesome.
Thank you for the well-spent day!

Fantastic excursion!
The guide was exceptional! The driver was just as good; I personally had forgotten my cap on the vehicle at the end of the excursion and, after contacting him, he gave me the right directions to retrieve it. Indisputable punctuality. An experience to definitely repeat!

A Great Walking Tour to Discover Sofia’s History and Highlights
The guided walking tour of Sofia was a wonderful way to discover the city and learn about its rich history and culture. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the audio explanations at the important landmarks provided interesting background and context, making each stop more meaningful.
I really enjoyed exploring the city on foot, seeing its main sights, and learning fascinating details that I might otherwise have missed. The tour was well worth it and gave me a much better understanding of Sofia and its history. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Undeniably best place to visit in Bulgaria
This is one of a kind experience if you are seeking a spiritual place and want to touch history. Nestled amidst mountainous gorge the monastery is framed by changing fall foliage like a beautiful picture frame. Come to the Orthodox service which is absolutely transcending with acapella echoing in the majestic cathedral domes.
There late a few cafes behind the Monastery where you can refresh yourself by drinking fresh mountain spring water.
Put your guide Alex was very thoughtful in his tour and accommodated our group’s interest. We had a nice group photo memento.

Day in Plovdiv from Sofia
Motivated by the previous excursion to the Rila Monastery, I booked for Plovdiv the following day. It was an excellent choice. Once we arrived in the city, we spent a beautiful day with our guide Martin, who was very kind and knowledgeable; he showed us the most interesting corners and gave us excellent advice on how to spend the remaining free time. Thank you Martin! I absolutely recommend it

Amazing Tour
Both the Rila Monastery and the Lakes are amazing places to visit. The views are breathtaking. And the our tourguide, Alex, was very insightful and offered a ton of information on the various sites visited, as well as local culture and traditions.
Absolutely recommend.

A tour full of information and smiles thanks.
I would like to thank a great guide with whom I was on three tours in Sofia:
A trip to the Rila monastery outside Sofia, a tour to know Sofia, its main sites and its historical story and a tour of the Jewish story that was really exciting.
The Slavyan guide is knowledgeable, full of humor and courtesy and we and all the tour participants have had a lot of fun with him.
He's a Bulgarian patriot and loves people, easy to fall in love with, as much as the Minister of Culture and Foreign Affairs of Sofia and Bulgaria.
We highly recommend joining his and his company’s free tours and getting his excellent guidance. We’ll be back...Thank you very much

The perfect tour.
We were very fortunate to explore Sofia with Marina as our guide – and it was simply unforgettable. Marina brings the history of this fascinating city to life in a way that goes far beyond the usual sightseeing. Her passion for Sofia is palpable in every sentence.
What particularly excited us: Marina connects ancient Thracian history, Byzantine influences, and the communist past into a cohesive narrative that ties everything together. In the end, you not only understand what you have seen, but also why it is important.
Additionally, her charming and humorous manner – the group laughed heartily several times, yet there was always enough space for deeper questions. Marina knows the answers to just about everything, and when you think you can surprise her, she just smiles and shares an anecdote that you won't find anywhere else.
Absolutely recommended – book this tour while you are in Sofia. You will not regret it!

This day trip proved...
This day trip proved excellent value during our week in Sofia. Our guide Nina was so competent, warm and friendly and simply a wealth of knowledge with regards The Old Town of Plovdiv and Bulgaria in general.
Fascinating houses and history.
The ancient architectural structures were extraordinary and filled with wonder.
I certainly recommend this experience to anyone with a keen interest in their current vicinity and history in general.

Very nice day trip
Very entertaining excursion. On the way there was a lot of information about the country and people. And a coffee break with free toilet (very clean).
At the monastery the essential details were explained and you had enough time afterwards to explore for yourself ... and a very delicious grilled trout in the closed restaurant.
The trip to the cave should only be made by those who feel fit enough to climb a steep and unpaved path over rocks and roots.
Back there was a stop at a winery. The wine tasting is highly recommended. (You can choose 3 wines from the offer. Very good quality.)
Just in time for dinner you are back in Sofia.
Highly recommended !!!
P.S.: The price is a joke. Driver and guide live off the tips. So please don't be stingy.
