Potsdam Visit

Only 30 minutes or so out of Berlin with its WWII history is a visit to Posdam with the beautiful palace of Prussian rulers. The palace is beautiful, the gardens amazing and the stories and history added to my appreciation of Germany’s history which is far more complex than the Hitler era.

Potsdam/Sans Souci tour

We enjoyed our tour to Sans Souci with Yasmin. On the ride to the palace she shared the history of the area including some Berlin history, Prussian history, Wannsee and Potsdam itself. Yazmin was knowledgeable, held your interest and was very funny. We toured Sans Souci and the gardens then returned to Berlin. Yazmin had suggestions for us for lunch or a drink after we got back to Berlin. All in all a good day.
