I had a wonderful time on this Oregon Coast tour! The weather was sunny and clear, which made the coastline absolutely stunning. The ocean views, sandy beaches, and dramatic cliffs were all beautiful and made for some amazing photos. The tour was well worth it, and it was a great way to explore the Oregon Coast without having to drive myself. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Portland and want to experience the coast!

Wonderful Tour
This was a great tour. Michael was a great tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel in Portland and shared a lot of history about the area. We had stops at several waterfalls along the Columbia River and were able to take a 1/2 mile hike (this was optional) between 2 of the falls. We had enough time to stop for lunch in a cute little town on the river. We then traveled up Mount Hood and stopped at the Timberline Lodge. It was a full day.

David was amazing! The talking part just about right, not too much and sufficient to get to know the places. So we can have some quiet time just to enjoy the view, unlike another tour I had was talking all the way…. I would love to hike up to Mt. Hood next time.

There be falls!
We saw five beautiful waterfalls! Most required short, easy walks on well maintained trails. We had some rain, but the driver/guide provided umbrellas. We wore lite weight hiker shoes. They were better than sneakers because of the wet conditions. Even without the rain the trails are damp so good gripping footwear is best. Loved it! Our driver - guide provided good historical background and some geology. Very interesting and entertaining!

Most of Oregon is a giant outdoor playground, from the Pacific Ocean beaches (100 percent of which are public) to the mountains of the Cascade Range and the high desert in the eastern part of the state. There are Oregon tours that highlight all of these wonders—and more. Even from a base in metropolitan Portland, full-day excursions let you explore the Columbia River Gorge, visit the coast, or hike up the state’s tallest mountain. Between outdoor activities, you can also go wine or beer tasting and sample some of Oregon’s best eats.
