What are people saying about Normandy

Great Tour despite train cancellations
Great overview of Omaha and Utah beaches. Plus the American Cemetery and Utah Beach Museum. Our tour guide very knowledgeable not only of the events of D-Day but WW2 in general. He also showed flexibility since an impending windstorm forced tour members to make last minute travel adjustments. He made sure to end the tour and get people to the train station to catch their ride since all trains were cancelled for the following day. Despite this we never felt rushed and he covered D-Day thoroughly.

Very Informative & Well Done
We booked the 8 1/2 hour tour which sounds like a long time period, but was perfectly planned with time scheduled to enjoy lunch and do a bit of touring in the museum. We learned so much!! Our guide was so informative and very well spoken. Saw two different beaches, Omaha and Utah, as well as the American Cemetery with its beautiful gardens and Memorial Wall. Very somber but very moving. A heartbreaking reminder of the courage, sacrifice and bravery that changed the world forever. Lest we forget.

Great guide, pace and itinerary
Great tour with lots of new information, well explained by our guide Laura. Small group which meant we could move at a pace that suited all. Good spread of locations with 2 of the landing beach locations, cemetry, battery and the artificial port. A great combination to get the overall view of the WW2 events in this region.

A fabulous tour!
What a wonderful tour we had today! Such an amazing tribute to the Canadian men who fought for us. Our guide, Helene, was very knowledgeable and she was wonderful to spend the day with. The Juno Beach Center was a highlight. The movie at the end was a tear jerker. Bring your Kleenex 😔. There was a fair bit of driving to see all the sights, but we got to see gorgeous, sleepy French villages. There were only 6 of us guests, so it was quick to get in and out of the van, as apposed to the big touring buses we occasionally saw. We would totally recommend this tour!
