Great Day at the Monastery
Wonderful tour highly recommend Emily. We met our guide Emily and what was to be a party of 8 ended up to be 4. Long story short the tour ended up as a private tour with just Emily and us. Emily was so knowledgeable about the monastery, the history and overall general knowledge of the area. Highly recommend

It was an entertaining...
It was an entertaining and informative trip that was one of the highlights of our visit to France. One must not miss it, whether you know a little or a lot about the Normandy beach landings. Our guide, Laurent, was simply phenomenal! Would give it 100 stars out of 100 if we could.

D-Day Respect
Sam was a very knowledgeable & informative guide. He clearly knew his subject matter. The tour was delivered very respectfully. The day is long but well broken up with breaks and stops. The coach (including driver) were comfortable and well presented, there was never a feeling of being unsafe. It also helped that the weather was good :-) Visiting these places is a must if you're able to learn about the sacrifice for today's freedoms.

Awesome for kids!
This was the perfect way to make history fun for kids. Ours were 12 and 14 and loved sitting on the back of the motorcycle and riding in the side car. Remi and John were great guides who clearly loved their job and enjoyed sharing Normandy with visitors. Highly recommend!

Awesome long day of History
A great day of history. I was a solo traveler and our guide, Matilda, was a local who knew her history really well. She was prepared with great stories. We took a nice van and there were only 8 of us on tour so that was great. Long day but so worth it. If you only have one day, this is the tour to take. Otherwise, this tour could be split into 2 days. I could have spent 2+ hours at the American Cemetery but we only had 45 minutes. I highly recommend the tour. I have taken Viator tours all over the world and they are always on time, reliable and professional.

Normandy
We enjoyed our tour with guide sam, who was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. He provided us with insight and the history of normandie and also took us to a bonus stop, while bringing us back to the cruise pier with lots of time to spare.

Incredibly informative experience
Charles was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of this area, and the WWII offensives. He started off the day gauging our historical knowledge and own personal connections with the war. This was a really lovely personal touch, as he was able to tell stories and present facts that were relevant to family members who had served. The whole day was incredible, and sombering. Such a great way to learn about this important time in our history.

Great trip with Herve
We are so glad we had a private guide, Herve, who was an encyclopedia of knowledge. It’s a long day but extremely interesting and informative. If possible, get to the beaches at low tide so that you can see the wide beach that the soldiers and equipment had to cross. At high tide there is no sand visible

Great kid friendly family day from Paris
Loved our tour with Julie! She was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. She made hard concepts easy to understand. It was great to have a local’s knowledge with global perspective. She did great navigating around detours. We saw things we would not have seen otherwise. It was an easy (but long) day trip from Paris. It was great with 4 kids 10-12.

A day at Mont SM
“V” was a great guide.. took us from room to room in every area with detailed explanations, history, and facts about SM.. timely pickup and drop off (8:00-430) and a good safe driver. This tour leaves from bayeux, not Paris.. right V? Ha ha
Please note since you’re exploring all the abbey you will be going up steps, appx 300 in total.. it is doable but elderly, those with knee or back problems should be aware
Highly recommended.. company took care of everything and good communications

Expert Guide Who Brought History to LifE
This tour was excellent from start to finish. The pick-up was easy and everything was very well organised. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. Visiting Omaha Beach and the cemetery was very moving, and the stories and context our guide shared really brought the history to life. A powerful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Normandy.

Deeply Moving D-Day Tour Led by Charles
Charles gave an outstanding D-Day tour, guiding us through Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery with impressive detail and clarity. His knowledge of the Normandy Campaign’s history was exceptional, and his genuine reverence for the events and the men who fought here showed in every story he told. We felt truly privileged to learn from him. We recommend this tour to anyone!
