HIghly Recommend
This private tour of Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace was perfect for our group of six. Our guide and driver, Alessando, was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel in a clean, comfortable van, and the entire day was very well organized with skip-the-line tickets included. Alessando’s knowledge of the area made exploring the castles and traveling between locations simple, relaxing, and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour
Christine and Mentor were amazing!! Christine was very knowledgeable, kind, and offered great food recs when getting to the town before going up to Neuschwanstein castle! Such a cool tour getting to see Linderhof Palace first and then heading to Neuschwanstein after! Even though the weather was quite foggy, it didn’t stop this tour from being amazing. Mentor also was great and got us there smoothly. Bus was clean and comfortable. Would so recommend this all day tour!

Amazing excursion!...
Amazing excursion! Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace were absolutely beautiful. Oberammergau was a quaint little town in the Alps.
Our guide Deyse was wonderful. She was very nice, informative and gave personal suggestions on places to go in our free time.

Good if you like castles
All in all - well managed and organized activity. Our guide was knowledgeable and the coach was clean, driver was good.
We left at 9- only got back at 7:30pm. Saw 2 castles - which we had to pay extra for.

Beautiful Castles
Wonderful experience. Castles were beautiful. Learned a lot about Ludwig ll. Did not feel rushed and tour guide was excellent. We went on a Sunday and the only stores opened were the souvenir shops and a few others as Germany is very strict on what is allowed to be open on Sunday. Otherwise a wonderful time. Bus was clean and water and snacks provided.

Take this tour!
This is a wonderful excursion to the castles. It is worth it to see both castles. The directions to find the bus loading area were very accurate and easy to find. The bus was new and clean with air conditioning. Our guide Cancel, yes that was her name, made the experience fantastic. She informed us about the history of the castles. She also taught us a few German words and guidance on restaurant menu items. It was just perfect!

Good day out with a great guide
We had a very enjoyable day with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Plenty of free time to do our own thing as well. Transport was very comfortable and clean with refreshments and bathroom facilities. A really good trip and value for money.

Good mixture of sightseeing, history, culture and fun
Bus was new and clean. Well planed, got to do many things in one day which would normally not be possible if planned otherwise. Tyler is a great guide, very attentive, in a good mood and gave us useful Munich tips. The restaurant we stopped at had good quality food. Our group split into the alpine coaster and Oberammergau, both were nice additions to the castle day. Would certainly book another tour with Tyler, we had a great day (:

When to visit

Neuschwanstein Castle ticket lines can be long in peak season—plan ahead and book a skip-the-line tour to avoid the hassle.
Wear suitable walking shoes if you opt to walk up to the castle—the road is uphill and uneven in places.
The castle is wheelchair-accessible with buses and carriages that can bring visitors up the hill to the entrance; inside, you'll also find elevators.
Plan to spend about two hours at the castle, excluding wait times.
