Fantastic Private D-Day Tour!

There were 8 of us travelling on a cruise together and we had a 12-hour window at the port of LeHavre. We wanted to see as much of the Normandy Battlefields as possible, but most of the tours were limited in what they could show us, so we booked a private driver/van and created our own itinerary, which allowed us to see significantly more of the sites. The standard rate assumes a 10-hour tour, but we paid for an additional 2 hours making it a 12-hour daytrip. Communication with the tour operator in planning the trip was excellent and the driver met us right at the port when we got off the ship. We had laid out the travel plans in advance and he told us the best approach in order to see everything. We visited St. Mere Eglise, the Airborne Museum, Pointe du Hoc, Mulberry Harbor (quick drive by view), Omaha Beach (walked the beach), American National Cemetery, Longues-sur-Mer and Pegasus Bridge. Parts of the tour were a little rushed based on our time and you really need a minimum of 3-days to truly see the main sites and museums, but we're not sure if we'll make it back. We stopped for a quick lunch along the way and the driver was very accomodating whenever we needed to stop or modify plans. Overall, it was an extremely memorable day and I would highly recommend using this tour company! Also, we didn't hire a driver who doubled as a guide, but they do offer this option as well.

🇫🇷 Our first time in Paris! ❤️ We had a great time exploring Paris, seeing the famous landmarks, and taking a cruise along the Seine River. Of course, we had to check out the Arc de Triomphe and take in all the sights along the way! We also got to try some French food and enjoy a little taste of Paris. 🥐🇫🇷 So much to see and do, and so glad we got to experience it together!

Great Tour

Very good tour of area towns near Le Havre. Lawrence was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He took us to Deauville and Honfleur, but also added a bonus stop in Trouville which was a very nice seaside town. In Honfleur we had about two hours to tour on our own which gave us time for a nice lunch.

Excellent guide and driver - would do it again!

Tibo (driver) and Anne Sophie (guide) were fantastic! They did great with the children and kept them engaged while presenting the history of Pointe du Hoc, Omaha landings and the American cemetery with respect and due reverence. Both of them were very professional and informative while remaining very personable. They even recommended a local cafe and had lunch with us.

We had the most amazing experience at Normandy with Maja as our tour guide!! She was absolutely fantastic and such a great story teller. She was very very knowledgeable and mad our experience incredible. We visited the German burial site, Normandy beach and finally the American burial site. It was a very long day but an excellent day off the ship seeing these sites. And they had us back in plenty of time for our sailing. I definitely recommend this shore excursion and hopefully you will get Maja. She is fantastic and really cares about her group having an extraordinary day!!

Paris for one-day cruisers- The right choice excursion from the port!

Great choice for a one day Paris highlights cruiser that gets you to/from LaHarve port in a timely manner! Our driver Lawrence and bus coordinator Frank were fantastic and safely getting us everywhere we needed to be -on-time and with No Stress!! Our guide -Martin is a tri-lingual master - even with the drive-by in Paris - he ensured we hit the rights spots, including the really cool Siene River cruise and a packaged lunch- and still had time for shopping (and eat REAL crepes and baguettes) in Paris! This excursion is the RIGHT choice for cruisers! LaHavre is a cute town (with a shopping mall) but seeing Paris (2 hours drive away) is the highlight! vexperio tours has NOT disappointed! V were picked up from...

V were picked up from port it took us around 2.5 hrs to reach to paris. We made 4 stops in paris. 1st one was Eiffel tower view from trocadero which was good spot for picture and view. Then v went to arch of triumph for few mins and then stop for one hour at notre dam. Then there Was a boat tour of paris, that was fun. Then return to our port in bus. Guide was fine.

What a great tour and enthusiastic pair of guides. Rémy led the tour across the city of Honfleur and surrounding countryside showing us many interesting places. From churches to scenic byways, to a great Ciderie near the end if the tour, it was a great afternoon. We loved the sidecar tour and would definitely do it again.

Get to the bus on time! William our guide and Denis our driver were terrific! However they waited way too long for 2 members of booking who were late on return to bus. A grace period of 15 minutes or so is understandable. However we were forced to wait almost 45 minutes.
