Day Trips from Krakow to Auschwitz Jewish Center

Learn about the two parts of the German concentration camp established in 1940 during a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Led by a guide, you will learn about life at the camp, the exhausting work prisoners were forced to perform, the tragic medical experiments performed, and the liberation of the camp by Soviet troops. The tour includes both parts of the former camp, Auschwitz and Birkenau.

Be independent. Explore the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum without a guide, on your own, at your own pace. We provide entry tickets to the museum, transportation, and a professional English-speaking driver assistance when entering the museum.

For those short on time, we offer a one day excursion to see two important sites in the Krakow area: Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine. This tour includes tickets and professional guides for each stop, transportation to and from Krakow, and a boxed lunch to eat between both tours. Leave the planning, scheduling, driving, and ticket purchase to us while you focus on discovering the sometimes tragic, sometimes inspiring history of the region.

Visit one of the most important historical sites in Europe on this full-day trip from Katowice. The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a powerful reminder of the Holocaust and the history of World War II. You’ll take a 1-hour train ride from Katowice to Krakow and join a guided group tour of both camps, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, led by a professional licensed guide. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to explore Krakow’s Old Town before taking the train back to Katowice. This tour suits travelers who want to visit Auschwitz comfortably in one day, with all tickets and logistics arranged for them, while learning the history of the camps from expert guides.
