What are people saying about Jeju

Tour was an effective way...
Tour was an effective way to see some of the key sites to East of Jeju without having to hire a car. You go to four sites, first site was a garden that was pretty enough but not a heap of time there to do much if you don't do the optional tangerine picking (tangerine picking is seasonal). That being said we didn't feel rushed at any other point. The lunch was goodand cheap, not entirely sure why it wasn't included in the base price given you don't have a lot of other options. Our guide Elin was very friendly and kept the group together, communicating the stops times and departures clearly, and helping the group members make the most of the trip for their needs, including helping them find the best dropoff points and ways back to their hotels

Excellent Full Day
My husband & iI had a stress free day trip with our private guide/driver Raymond Cheon, Jeju. He is knowledgeable, friendly, professional, accommodating, & a good photographer. He also will go out of the way to be helpful. His English is excellent. We went primarily to the south & saw several beautiful scenic sites. Also saw women divers around the grandmother/general rock - better than the women’s diver show on the eastside. Viator is easy to use & love the reminders….

East Jeju Beauty
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Sam. He prepared us for the trip ahead by sending a detailed itinerary. He was extremely pleasant, funny and knowledgeable of the island. I especially enjoyed his storytelling style because he told the history of the island along with incorporating details about himself and what brought him to the beautiful island of Jeju. He captured everyone’s attention right away with a lot of facts we were unaware of and repeated them throughout the tour so we would not forget how important the culture and traditions are to the island. A great tour guide makes all the difference when sightseeing, it heightens the spirit of seeing beautiful places.

Three Special Places in Jeju Island
My trip to Jeju Island was an unforgettable experience. I visited three special places: Hallasan 1100 Highland, Sanbangsan, and Songaksan. Each place had its own beauty and charm, and I was deeply impressed by the wonderful scenery and peaceful atmosphere. First, Hallasan 1100 Highland was a beautiful place where I could enjoy the fresh air and the peaceful beauty of nature. The green trees, winding roads, and cool mountain breeze made me feel refreshed. Standing there, I felt as if I were surrounded by the wonderful gifts of nature. It was a perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life. Second, I was impressed by Sanbangsan and the various Buddhist temples in the surrounding area. The temples created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Their traditional architecture blended beautifully with the natural landscape. As I looked around, I felt calm and comfortable. I could appreciate not only the beauty of the scenery but also the history and culture of Jeju Island. Finally, Songaksan was especially memorable because of the crater at its summit. Looking at the crater, I was amazed by the powerful forces of nature that had shaped the mountain. The surrounding ocean and coastal landscape made the view even more spectacular. Standing near the top, I felt a great sense of achievement and gratitude for being able to experience such a wonderful place. Through this journey, I discovered that each place offers a different kind of beauty. Hallasan 1100 Highland gave me peace and freshness, Sanbangsan allowed me to experience spirituality and tradition, and Songaksan showed me the magnificent power of nature. Visiting these three places was more than just sightseeing. It was an opportunity to appreciate nature, learn about local culture, and reflect on myself. I will always cherish these precious memories of Jeju Island, and I hope to return someday to discover even more of its hidden beauty.

Compared to the South Korean mainland, Jeju Island may look relatively small. It’s the country’s largest island, though, and it’s a very popular tourist destination for locals and foreign tourists alike. The volcanic terrain lends itself to a variety of outdoor adventures, and the itineraries of most Jeju tours reflect this. There are mountains to explore, as well as waterfalls, lakes, beaches, caves, and surreal lava tubes left by the underwater volcano eruption that created the island some 2 million years ago. You may also get to visit a tea museum for a taste of what can come from such rich volcanic soil.
