This is a BUSY BIG guided tour with lots of activities and people! It was very well organized and our guide, Ken, was great. All the staff on the ship were attentive and personable. The ship was clean and the buffet was really good quality. We normally travel off the beaten path, and this is not a path but a highway. However, it was a great experience and worth every penny.

This tour has a great mix of history, sights and activities. I recommend the optional Gondola ride if you tend to breeze through sights. Be prepared to walk steep inclines. The best tour and the best guide!

Our guide was Grace who was professional and insightful. My daughter and I were taken to meet a North Korean defector and this was such an amazing experience and one that we learned so much from. We were able to ask questions which was a privilege we appreciated. The tour was on a really wet day but didn't spoil our enjoyment of this remarkable place. At one point I panicked as I thought I lost my purse and Grace was on hand immediately to help me with that too. We have now used Seoul City Tours four times during recent trips to South Korea and will definitely return next year to spend time in this truly remarkable place. Thank you for another excellent experience at the DMZ. Grace - you are wonderful!

Excellent day tour packed...

Excellent day tour packed with activities, stunning scenery, and delicious seafood. Our driver and tour guide, Phong, picked us up from our hotel in the Old Quarter around 7:45 am, and we spent about 45 minutes picking up other guests around the city. The journey to Ha Long Bay took approximately 3.5 hours, including two stops for restrooms and coffee. Around noon, we arrived at the marina and boarded the boat. The crew welcomed us warmly with cold tea, salads, steamed rice, a variety of seafood, and fresh fruit for dessert. Additional beverages and cocktails were available for purchase. After about 30 minutes on the boat, we reached Ti Top Island, where you can climb over 400 steps to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Alternatively, you can relax on the beach and swim for about 45 minutes. We then returned to the boat for a short ride to the next activity—choosing between kayaking, a bamboo boat, or a high-speed boat ride. This was a great way to explore the bay up close for about 30 minutes. The third stop was a cave visit, where we spent around 45 minutes exploring. By 5 pm, we were back on the boat heading to the marina, enjoying a beautiful sunset along the way. At 6 pm, we boarded the bus for the return trip to Hanoi. The entire trip was very well organized and absolutely worth it. Phong provided clear instructions, detailed schedules, and interesting insights about Hanoi’s history, all while keeping the group entertained with his sense of humor. The driver was experienced and ensured a safe and smooth journey both ways. We highly recommend this tour and look forward to coming back for a 2–3 day cruise in Ha Long Bay.

Great way to see ha long bay.

Well organized tour lasting about 24 hours. The staff worked really hard to make everything go seamlessly. They give you an itinerary right at the very start and stick to it throughout the time. The staff were very pleasant and service oriented. The facilities were good just as they look in the photos. The food was great, the scenery speaks for itself, and the boating/kayaking/swimming/cooking class, etc.. were all good things to keep you occupied. There were small just sufficient breaks so it didn't feel rushed. I also enjoyed meeting other travelers in a setting that was small enough <50 passengers, that you got to talk to people if you wanted to do so.
