Fun exploration of Volubilis and Meknes!
Seeing Volubilis was incredible! It was definitely worth visiting and exploring the site with its beautiful mosaic floors. We had a great lunch in Meknes after which we visited the mausoleum. Gorgeous building with beautiful mosaics! A lovely visit to a local winery finished off the day. We all enjoyed the full day adventure!

Scenic drive with lots to see at each stop
1.5 hrs in Volobilis was plenty, not rushed. Panoramic views of Moulay Idrees was great! Our driver Hashim, took us for a wonderful traditional lunch that was very filling Menkes was a bit rushed but it was already a long day, so that's ok! Best was our driver Hashim. Funny, friendly and took time to explain the entire drive and stopped along the Rif Mountains for some amazing photos!. He spoke English, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and a few other languages! It was a very scenic drive! Well worth the day.

We normally travel...
We normally travel without a guide, but after reading about the complexity of the Fes Medina, we decided to hire one. Great decision! We would have ended up in a dead-end alley within two minutes. This was an excellent tour, tailored to our interests and pace, and it checked off all of our must-see sights. Our guide Abdull's local knowledge and ability to navigate the maze-like streets made the experience both enjoyable and stress-free.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fes!

1/2 day Private walking tour of Fes Medina with local expert.
Great walking tour provided by Special Morocco Tour. The walking tour of Fez with Ahmed is amazing. He’s a great tour guide. Went above and beyond to show us the Medina, history, culture and crafts of Fes. We enjoyed the tour with some new knowledge of Fes’s history. We highly recommend to book with Special Morocco Tour.

The colorful city of Fez is a feast for the senses. It’s among Morocco’s oldest cities, with an ancient, UNESCO-listed walled medina, densely packed traditional markets, and one of the world’s oldest tanneries. Fez tours give you a chance to explore labyrinthine parts of the city with an expert to see 9th-century mosques, a 17th-century synagogue, cultural museums, and the famous Chouara Tannery. You can also learn to make some traditional Moroccan dishes with a hands-on cooking lesson.
