Great trip
I booked the night before on viator , as soon as I booked all the information came through about the tour . We had a hotel pick up at 9.30 , first stop was the ancient ruins , we had an hour and 20 minutes to look around , then it was off to mulay Idris to a very cute village . After thst we had a lunch stop at a lovely restaurant In Meknes , after lunch a local guide took the group on a walking tour of the town , I sat it out as I have a bad leg but my husband and daughter really enjoyed it . Both our guides Hashim and Rashid were very good as was our driver Hassan . It was a long day but worth it .

Just do it
I’m truly thankful to other travelers who have led me to Ahmed and his wonderful tour. Everything was perfect - communications, transportation logistics, and his incredible knowledge of the Fez Medina, the culture, and history. Ahmed’s warm hospitality paired with his insightful knowledge truly made this a wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate. Just book him.

A good day trip from Fes....
A good day trip from Fes. You leave just after 9 with a guide in the car. Bit of a drive to Volubilis where you’ll have an hour and a half to look around. There wasn’t a guide there but it’s self explanatory. Then on to Meknes via Moulay Idriss. There’s a guide in Meknes too. Was hoping to do some shopping but you get a good tour of the old city.

Chefchaouen blue city
A 4 hour long drive from Fes and spent about 4 hours in Chefchaouen was worthwhile. Mohsen, the driver for day trip to Chefchaouen was skillful and tough job. Chefchaouen is beautiful blue city with various alleys in decorated in blue. Be aware certain alleys require tipping.
