Great private tour with a knowledgeable guide
We really enjoyed this private walking tour of the Fez Medina. Our guide picked us up on time from our riad, which made the start of the day easy and stress-free.
He explained everything very clearly and clearly knows a lot about the history of Fes. His stories brought the old medina to life. His English was also very good, so it was easy to follow and ask questions.
Navigating the maze-like medina on our own would have been impossible, so having a private guide was well worth it. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Fes!

Obviously a lot of...
Obviously a lot of driving but it didn’t feel like that much with the amount of stops and incredible scenery. Both lodging accommodations were beautiful and all the staff were very nice.
Ali was a great guide and would highly recommend him!!! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe the entire time.

The Fes to Marrakech experience with Zaki
I did a three-day tour from FES to Marrakesh thru the Sahara desert, with camel rides and glamping with Zaki as our guide. It was an experience I will always remember. Driving through the Sahara with a massive rain storm and the flooded waters we experienced. Over blocked bridges, traffic jams, Zaki maneuvered us with skill and knowledge, crossing bridges, working our way around obstacles, explaining our route and always in contact with the participants on the tour. We even had a flat tire and he did a great job changing it and getting us back on the road. I totally recommend Zaki as an experience guide, driver and just a great person to go on a tour with. I rate him all the stars in the sky. Definitely someone with whom you want to guide you through Morocco.

Great trip
I booked the night before on viator , as soon as I booked all the information came through about the tour .
We had a hotel pick up at 9.30 , first stop was the ancient ruins , we had an hour and 20 minutes to look around , then it was off to mulay Idris to a very cute village .
After thst we had a lunch stop at a lovely restaurant
In Meknes , after lunch a local guide took the group on a walking tour of the town , I sat it out as I have a bad leg but my husband and daughter really enjoyed it .
Both our guides Hashim and Rashid were very good as was our driver Hassan .
It was a long day but worth it .

Wonderful!
Truly an exceptional experience. Our guide Youssef went above and beyond, his hospitality and knowledge of the Medina was outstanding. My mother and I were celebrating our birthday and he brought us a cake! This excursion is done by Morocco’s very best, an amazing experience!
Thanks again!!

Habibi Desert Tour!
We loved this trip! Noor & Jafar from Marrakech City Life tour company took awesome care of us. They picked us up early from our airbnb in Fez. The van had 18 passengers plus 2 drivers - it was comfortable and had AC and ports for charging.
Jafar was an absolute boss driver - both in the city and in the mountains. Noor was our tour guide and 'habibi'. He made sure all of our questions were answered and kept us smiling.
On average we stopped every 1.5 hours to take a picture or use the toilets or eat/drink. This was a good pace for van-traveling and also the governemnt has mandatory rest-time regulations for tour vans/buses.
We arrived at our camels 🐫 close to 5pm and rode them into the desert for sunset to a spot for sand-surfing and then on to our destination camp which we reached after dark. You definitely will need a scarf for this trip - not only does it look good in pics but the winds can be very strong and the scarf helps cover your face and eyes.
The accommodations and facilities at the Standard Camp are rustic but good enough to keep you warm and fed. The quad ATV bikes through the desert was so worth it - definitely a must do!
The next day we drove through the Atlas Mountains with stops at different towns and sites and Berber Cooperatives. We stayed in Rose City for the night and traveled the next day to Aït Benhaddou which did not disappoint. Nice, easy hike to the top with our knowledgeable guide Mohammed. Then a few hours more traveling on winding mountain roads until we reached Marrakesh and they kindly dropped us off at our airbnb.
Just a note to pay attention to your itinerary - there were small details we missed and surprised us (eg. you arrive by camel to your desert camp and leave either by quad ATV (extra cost) or camel only). Lunches arent included but you will stop at places along the way for lunch - mostly buffets - and these cost money (around 110-120pp). If you dont want to eat this lunch there - are usually spots near to buy snacks.
We loved our tour guide - thank you again Noor for everything! Habibi!!

Fun exploration of Volubilis and Meknes!
Seeing Volubilis was incredible! It was definitely worth visiting and exploring the site with its beautiful mosaic floors. We had a great lunch in Meknes after which we visited the mausoleum. Gorgeous building with beautiful mosaics! A lovely visit to a local winery finished off the day. We all enjoyed the full day adventure!

Lots of amazing stops...
Lots of amazing stops (the monkeys were really cool and beautiful natural scenery the whole drive) on the way to the highlight - the beautiful and peaceful Sahara, the food and tent were great too. Big thanks to the two drivers/guides, Mohammed and Louzi who did an amazing job. A+.

Must do in fez
We loved this experience. Everything was organized and seeing the artisans work in the co op was amazing - the activity was also peaceful and set up before hand! We got to stay in the co op after as well and browse the work. It’s wonderful to see the origins of so much art in fez. Would 1000% recommend

One of the best value tour packages i have ever booked. A very pleasant and rewarding experience
From the beginning, I knew the experience was going to be a good one because of the driver. Hassan was communicative, kind, helpful and spoke amazing English. He made sure everybody in our Mercedes Sprinter was comfortable and understood where we are and where we are going. Along the way, he told us various cool facts and stories about the places we drove through. The van was very comfortable with great seats and cold air conditioning. We stopped at all the places mentioned in the original tour description which was great. Good number of bathroom stops, panoramic photo stops, coffee and food stops. Just keep in mind many of the restaurants accept cash only, so come prepared. The highlight of the trip was the desert camp. It was exactly what i had expected. Clean, comfortable and the staff were welcoming. I booked the 1 hour ATV ride for extra 50 euros which I really enjoyed - we saw the sunrise from a great point in the dunes. Planning to book this tour again in the future. Make sure to leave a tip to the driver and other people if they have put in effort to make your experience a better one.

Great experience and worthwhile doing!
We had a great time with Amoudo and Moha Zawit. They made a real effort to ensure there were always positive vibes and were well informed and genuinely passionate about Morocco and what they are doing.
There are times when it feels like there are too many stops / photo ops but I know this was done to try and break up all the driving.
The camel riding and ATV trek is fantastic and really made a memorable experience in the Sahara desert.
Food options are fairly limited particularly at the campsite but it’s all authentic Moroccan food nevertheless .
We had a number of guides/experiences which while often fascinating did sometimes feel it was an opportunity for more money / tips but again I understand this is partly about benefitting the wider Moroccan communities.

More than transportation!
We expected an uneventful ride from Fez to Chefchaouen, and we were pleasantly surprised to be wrong! We had the best time with our guide who shared a lot about the areas we passed through and the history of Morocco. We had a great time and highly recommend this trip!

The colorful city of Fez is a feast for the senses. It’s among Morocco’s oldest cities, with an ancient, UNESCO-listed walled medina, densely packed traditional markets, and one of the world’s oldest tanneries. Fez tours give you a chance to explore labyrinthine parts of the city with an expert to see 9th-century mosques, a 17th-century synagogue, cultural museums, and the famous Chouara Tannery. You can also learn to make some traditional Moroccan dishes with a hands-on cooking lesson.
