Amazing excursion!
Beautiful scenery and friendly accommodating crew. What a relaxing trip enjoying the sparkling clear sea! Wonderful day excursion, lovely breakfast, lunch and afternoon fruits and snacks. Just enough.
Only 1 thing, we did hike to top of Gramvousa…how could you not? But really need a lot more time for this challenging climb and to walk around the top for great photo ops a little more without feeling rushed.. We did it tho! Amazing. Suggest hiking boots or sneakers vs water shoes; definitely NOT sandals or water shoes if you choose to accept the mission. 😊

Flexible to the extreme
We were having the most wonderful day with our small group excursion when, half way through the wine tasting, I had a funny turn and succumbed to the heat of the day, and the tiredness accumulated over the previous days by fainting 🤦♀️
Missed out on lunch, but was looked after so nicely by all involved, and a different car was sent to take me back to our cruise ship, where I was able to sleep off the rest of the afternoon and fully return to normal. I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating they were and promise myself to go back and resume the tour next year
I was particularly annoyed at missing out, as our guide that day had been the best we’ve had all through the 10 days cruise: full of information, but delivered in bite size pieces you could digest, and with a great sense of humour.

Great time and laughs
Our travel guide was great. He was funny and fit our vibe perfectly. Had us laughing the whole time. The soap shop was just perfect and everything we have been looking for. He took us to Leo for a wine and raki experience and Leo just made us feel so at home. And his wine and raki was so smooth. The food was delicious, we had it 2 days in a row. We had the goat and chicken. Both were amazing

Worth every penny
Amazing experience, great crew. The cost was a bargain for what we got and 1/4 of what the hotel wanted to charge us for a shared boat. The food.. wow, it’s not a few bags of crisps and a coke it was a mini banquet of hot delicious food. This is something not to be missed!

Get to Know Crete With George!!
We went on this private tour as a family and enjoyed every minute. George was very polite and answered our endless questions about his culture, family life, and the island he grew up on. He was flexible with our schedule and accommodating when we asked for slight changes to the program and timing. We would recommend this experience, and it left us wanting to return to Crete to experience more of this beautiful island!

Our favorite day in Crete
Can’t say enough good things about Maria and this tour. Go read all the five star reviews and believe them. She was our favorite guide of the vacation, and took us to a cafe, cultural museum, monastery, ottoman fortress, olive oil factory and winery. Maria effortlessly blended facts, legends, and modern observations about Crete, its people, the food, and culture. The day was about eight hours long, and despite everything we did, never felt rushed, and certainly never bored. Miss you already Crete, and Maria! Would give more than five stars if allowed.

Most amazing tour with the most knowledgeable guide
We spent our time with Areti, who was the most amazing person and guide! Both winery's were absolutely amazing, from wine to food we both didn't want the moment to end. If you come to Crete as a couple you need to book this tour with Areti or you are simply missing out.

You’ve found the one
You won’t find a better way to really understand Chania- from a great start with a local coffee to a wine tasting you’re sure to wish you had before any other finished with a local favorite lunch of Cretan delicacies- not a moment is wasted. You’ll walk away with recommendations and a full understanding of what makes Chania the new place to be in Greece. Thank you Nassos and team!

Lovely people, clear...
Lovely people, clear instructions and a fun morning out. We all liked it a lot. Some of us hadn't been on quads before but the trip was tailored so it was doable but not too scary. Doing 40kph on roads and then over some dirt tracks across the countryside for some variety.

George the Tall Guy is the Best
George “the tall guy” was a great guide. He is obviously well educated in history and politics and we learned quite a bit about the wars and current military installations in Crete. The church atop the hill was inspirational. The mostly self guided tour of the Venetian portion of Chania was great because George told us what not to miss and arranged for an oil, balsamic, raki, honey and nut butter tasting which was fantastic. We ended up buying a bunch of items because we knew how good it tasted. We purchased beautiful linens. After viewing outside and inside the walls of the old city, we toured some additional beaches. It’s cool now but the water was calm and shallow. It’s perfect for when it’s hot out. I’d highly recommend a tour with George because he customized it to meet our expectations.

Wonderful Wine Tour & Tasting Experience
We really enjoyed everything. Our driver picked us up and was super kind and entertaining! She gave us so much valuable information and insight into life in Crete. The wine tour and tasting was excellent. Our guide was super informative, fun, and enthusiastic - and the wine was really very nice and unique to the area. Loved every minute of the tour and the tasting.

Fabulous well packed day!
A really pleasant and informative day about the island, its food, its history, its olive trees and bees. We learned so much! Our guide was dynamic and super friendly. It felt like we did loads in a few hours: visit the world’s oldest olive trees, the bakery, the cheese factory, the bee keeping place, the olive oil factory, the tasting, and the winery and wine tasting! So much was packed in one day. Great value for money. You’ll need cash for the bakery but everywhere else accepts cards. Super super day!
