First class experience.A true private tour…When you book as a “group” even if there are only 2 of you then it will just be you and Angie…Lots of fun facts given and Angie flexible if you want to adjust itinerary.She makes sure you are always comfortable and warned about things we might find challenging…ie the extreme cold of the gorge so we then happily embraced it rather than being shocked!
Please be brave and swim to the waterfalls…you’ll regret it if you don’t as a once in a lifetime type experience!

Angie was the absolute best tour guide and the sweetest person! Loved our stops at the Gorge and the swimming area. Lunch was also fantastic! This was the best tour we’ve ever done. We were hesitant to do a private tour as we normally just drive ourselves. However, we were swayed by the reviews and we are so glad we were. Angie was fantastic. Not only does she know the history and interesting facts of the island, she is a great conversationalist and you can tell she really is passionate about hospitality and travel.
She was extremely responsive to us as we requested a few last minute changes from the itinerary because we wanted to do something other than the beach. She listened to our interests and planned a custom day trip. We checked out Rethymno, did an olive tasting, and a wine tasting which is exactly what we were looking for.
She was early to pick us up but didn’t rush us. Our day went from approximately 10am - 4:30pm. She had little snacks for us throughout the day and if we had wanted to swim she even had waterproof phone cases, beach towels, and a pool noodle.
We are so glad we did this tour with a local. Having coffee and wine and lunch with Angie really made us feel as if we were experiencing Crete with a local and not just getting driven to site after site.
For anyone considering Angie - just book her services. She will plan everything for you even past this just day trip if you just ask her for recommendations on food, lodging, activities, etc.

We had such a fun and unique day with Angie! She is hilarious, easygoing, and genuinely a good time to be around. She also knows so much about Crete and shares things about the island throughout the day in a way that feels natural and interesting.
The gorge was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed Kalypso Beach. Angie was incredibly prepared with everything we wouod need and even had a few thoughtful surprises that made the experience feel extra special.
We really loved that the tour was private and personal. We never felt rushed and could just relax, laugh, explore, and enjoy the day at our own pace. Angie clearly puts a lot of thought into making sure her guests have a great experience, and we definitely recommend spending the day with her!

This tour was the best! Angie is so easy to get along with, we all had a blast riding along with her and she's a fabulous tour guide. We were a party of 9, 4 adults and 5 kids ages 18, 16, 16, 13, and 10. All of the stops were interesting and worthwhile, I would love to go back and spend more time in all of them. The Gorge - very cold but worth trying it. A long walk down but not too tough, i did it in birkenstocks and was fine. Calypso Beach - so beautiful and clear, a very beautiful spot. We rented snorkels and had a great time, but if i went back i'd probably bring a little float for the kids because its more of a swimming hole than a beach. Spili - the most charming little mountain town. We loved lunch and shopped around a little bit and definitely could've spent even more time there. There really was never a dull moment on this tour!

Cannot rate this day highly enough. Angie was so knowledgable and helpful. When the gorge was closed due to high winds she quickly adapted the day to suit us. This private tour was absolutely perfect. We had done a giant group tour just a day earlier and it went pretty badly so it was such a nice relief to see the beauty of Crete on a relaxed and customized pace. Angie was a great guide, so personable, easy to get along with, showed us the prettiest places, and was so great with our daughter, too. The itinerary of this trip is also perfect. The gorge is stunning, the beach is so unique and beautiful, and there is a salt water pool right by the beach that my daughter really loved (and we did, too). The village of Spili was small but also pretty. Angie made the day feel relaxed, never rushed us, let us stay at the different stops without tight deadlines and even recommended a few places in Chania to visit and dine at. Highly recommend Angie and this day trip.

My husband and I had an incredible private tour with Angie, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Crete! From the moment we met her, she was warm, kind, and personable. We connected right away, and it felt like we were exploring the island with a friend.
She took us to the beautiful south side of Crete and showed us places we never would have found on our own. One of the biggest highlights was Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where Angie knew exactly how to avoid the crowds and get us in quickly. We practically had it all to ourselves, which made the experience even more special.
We also spent time at the stunning Kalypso Beach, enjoyed a delicious local lunch, and Angie was more than happy to adjust our itinerary when we mentioned we'd love to visit a winery. That flexibility made the day feel completely personalized to us.

Our tour guide was Angie. She was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly knowledgable about Greek history, culture geography, and pretty much anything that we ever asked. I cannot say enough amazing things about Angie! We decided to book this private tour because we didn’t know what to do in Crete. Angie customized a schedule for us and it exceeded our expectations. Our first was a monastery that my sister said was her favorite part of our entire 16 day vacation. Next she took us to a small village where we got to watch a man make pottery in the same way they’ve been doing it for over 2000 years. It was the most unique experience and absolutely my favorite part of the entire trip. We then went to see where they harvest honey and got to taste some of the local honey. Once you have Crete honey, you will never buy anything else. She then took us to a grab and go lunch spot. That was absolutely amazing! I have been craving pitas ever since. After lunch, we went on a tour of a local castle. The views were amazing! Our last stop was one of the best. We got to go to see where they harvest olive oil. I will forever be checking labels of olive oil to make sure it is produced in Crete. None of these destinations would have been anything we would have selected. I’m so glad we left it to Angie to decide. It truly was the highlight of our entire 16 day vacation.
We will definitely be making another trip to Crete to soak in the rest of this wonderful seaside destination.

Amazing guide, she was the BEST!! Great conservation and very informative. We had a blast. The gorge was beautiful, cold but worth the short swim. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our lunch spot but the lion heads was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!!
We truly enjoyed our excursion with Angie to Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Kalypso Beach. The scenery was breathtaking, and we even had the chance to stop at an olive farm for olive oil and honey tasting, which was such a special experience. This was literally the best tour of our trip! Angie customized everything...certain areas we stayed longer, some shorter. She knew so much about Crete, and we got way more than we would have out of a big group booking. Honestly...if you are on the fence about booking-do it!! Worth every penny. Also, the locations we went to were fabulous! One of our favourite days of our entire 2 week trip!

We were traveling on a Seaborn cruise with a family of four which included two teenagers. Angie was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely engaging. I have two very active children who wanted to explore the island. She knew exactly where to go and kept the kids entertained at all time. We enjoyed the comforts of her Mercedes sprinter van, which was air-conditioned and clean. She had waters and snacks for us through the entire trip. I would highly recommend booking! She will definitely not disappoint!
One of the highlights of our trip, Angie and her dad were awesome! Everything from start to finish was amazing. The gorge was well worth the cold water and so is the beach!
Angie was our tour guide. She was amazing. She had a warm, bubbly personality that made the day really fun. Crete is a beautiful island and we got a chance to try some local snacks, visit an old village, see the gorge (it was too windy to swim in it), ended up at their lake to swim, ate a local Cretan lunch (Angie helped make great recommendation on what food to order). The vehicle was very comfortable and was able to accommodate my tall family. It was one of my family's favorite activities to do while on our 13 day European vacation.
It was an incredible day spent in Crete! Angie was such a fun and fantastic guide and we saw some amazing places on this beautiful island. We learned about the history while also enjoying some of the highlights - a swim in a beautiful natural spring waterfall at the base of a gorge, visiting the beautiful Kalypso beach, a delicious sea-side lunch that was the best gyro I’ve ever tasted, and then olive oli factory and winery tours/tasting! It’s amazing we fit it all in, in one day, but it never felt rushed! I would highly recommend this tour and Angie is literally one of the best! My whole family loved the day spent with her! We miss her/Crete already!
I booked this experience for my family of 9 adult children. After reading all the reviews, we had high expectations and Angie exceeded them! Of course the scenery, the stops, the experiences, and lunch were amazing, but what differentiates Angie is her authenticity, ability to connect with people, love of her island, and attention to details. We felt so cared for every step of the way. The snacks after every stop hit the spot and she kept us well hydrated! In a short period of time she feels like a friend and truly met our family’s needs. Everything about this experience was a delightful surprise!
