Top Bucharest Day Trips

Claudiu was an outstanding driver and made our trip from Bucharest to Peleș Castle, Bran Castle, and Brașov truly memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and shared so many interesting stories and insights along the way. It was clear that he knew everyone in the local community, which made our experience feel especially authentic. He was always prompt and reliable when picking us up from our tours, and we always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Most of all, Claudiu was fun to listen to and made the long drives enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver and highly recommend him!

Hearing Slănic salt mine is the biggest one in Europe, I searched and booked this tour because of its time frame matches my itinerary Meeting location: easy to 5 minute walk from my hotel Hilton garden in old town. I assume it would be a sign of Gray line It’s Universidate is a long big avenue We asked any one passing by, no one heard about this We ran into 2 persons who said they are tour guides but not Slanic salt mine . exactly at 8:30 am, a van with Grayline logo stopped to pick up my group During two hour drive, we had tour an audio tour and history of Bucharest The rest stop at a public gas station is nice, but it is crowded with long line at the public restroom. Luca store and it’s pastries looks great , I couldn’t buy anything bc too crowded and limited time (15 minutes ) Tickets are pre purchased by the company , getting on a shuttle drive through a tunnel and have a two hour walk Punctuation: good planning: 8:30 pick up by the curb , 11 am arriving, 1 pm leaving, ends tour at 3:30 pm ( heavy traffic on the way back to old town)

Alex was beyond amazing. So much history and information. He was exceptional with knowledge and was able to answer every question. He really knows the Romanian history and culture and shared with enthusiasm. We have done many tours in many countries and Alex has raised a high bar. He thought of everything and it was the perfect pace. He even made local recommendations. We couldn't be happier! I can't give this tour and Alex enough stars.

Ask for Vlad. He was a great guide, very personable and had a fabulous sense of history. He gave you the general information and then detail and interesting depth to the history and fables regarding everywhere we went. He had great recommendations that we followed up on for lunch as well as what was worth seeing and what was perhaps not. It was a long day, but he is good company and well worth it.

It is a very beautiful place easy to be reached. Temp of 12° C so a jacket is needed. Max tour inside approx of 40 min. The road inside the mines is a special experience. Bogdan was a careful guide moreover careful and experienced driver. Everything was according the mentioned program

We had an excellent day trip to Northern Bulgaria. Our guide, Serban, was friendly, professional, and very accommodating throughout the tour. We learned so much about both Bulgaria and Romania, and the experience was informative as well as enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore the region in a day.

Great informative walking tour Apple Watch says 17000+ (not fast pace) steps you see everything! Alina is fab fully animated enthusiastic and so knowledgeable great insight into Bucharest, lots of photo opportunities a fab 3 hours in -4 weather well worth it a big thank you ☺️

This “tour” was an excellent choice. I say “ tour” because it was just airport transportation. Great, Great communication and very responsive. The driver was on time, informative and VERY nice. I would rate this choice 5 stars and would recommend anyone to select this choice for transportation. We also worked with the owner to book a 4 hour private tour as well as transportation to the river cruise port. Excellent!
