In addition to the serene and awesome Muir Woods, our tour included an informative drive through San Fransisco; a stop at both the Golden Gate overlook and the Presidio Tunnel Tops with amazing views and photo ops of Golden Gate Bridge; and Palace of the Arts. Our driver/guide Jake did an amazing job sharing tons of history and other information

We had no idea that you get an amazing tour of all the highlights to see in SF, as well as, the best restaurants, bars and hangouts of famous people. I would even recommend this tour to locals.l And the trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito was a plus for sure.,We got off in Sausalito, had lunch, shopped, and ferry back to SF. Our driver, Kevin, was the best!!!!!

Roger was a great Tour Guide. We were late getting off the ship because of Detailed Customs Inspections, but Roger and his team made arrangements for us to catch up to the Tour. He was knowledgable about our stops and provided local flavor and background all along the way.

A Lovely Trip

We were lucky and had a beautiful day. Started with a tour of San Francisco and then a stop at Golden Gate Bridge. Had about 30 mins there. Was long enough for pictures and gift shop. On to Muir Woods. Such a lovely peaceful place! Plenty of time to wander, gift shop and grab a drink. We then took the option to get dropped at Sausalito. What a fantastic little place. Then took ferry back to San Francisco. We had Jake as a guide. A lovely guy. Good sense of humour and very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Told us exactly where to go for ferry to get back. Good music choices too for bus. Thanks Jake - made the trip!

The minibus was comfy enough and our driver Patrick was full of information, trivia, music, and jokes. Very entertaining!! The Muir Woods are well worth the visit, and the extra detours through various SF neighborhoods, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and through Sausalito were interesting and enjoyable

Great tour. Per (our guide) was well versed in local history and lore, had a great sense of humour, and knew when to allow time for quiet. Side note, be prepared to pay the $15 to get into Muir Wood.

Amazing tour, tour guide and excellent value

Must-do if you are in San Fransisco. Only took about 4 hours total. Jake our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. He took us around the city and gave us some neat history and views. It rained some but was still an amazing trip even with that. View of Golden Gate Bridge was perfect, can grab a latte or frappe while there and take a potty break too. The redwoods are awesome, kind of wish the hike was longer but that would eat up more time. This is perfect trip if you’re from out of town and don’t want to deal with the hassle of planning and driving yourself. Well worth the price including a tip. San Fransisco is a really cool city.

Coffee every morning, continental breakfast for guests when problem with overall cable. Let us keep our luggage at hotel after checkout to explore the city more before heading to the airport!!

Worth the time

Not a long time for lunch in Sausalito. But the trip around the city was informative and entertaining. We had an hour and 15 minutes to spend in the woods, wish it was longer. We made the entire trail but did not have time to shop in the gift store. In all, well worth the trip.

Muir Woods is amazing!

I did the 8am tour to Muir Woods that stopped in Sausalito. I’m so happy I got to see Muir Woods, it is really awe inspiring. It was nice to see it with the tour too and not have to worry about makes a reservation there. We promptly left at 8am. And the tour shop does have a small bathroom which is nice to use before you leave. Barry was a great tour guide, he loved taking pictures of everyone and knows a lot about San Francisco. We got out of the bus twice to take pictures on the way to Muir Woods. They were great picture stops and we head nice weather to pose in front of Golden Gate Bridge. Even though I’ve been to SF 5 times I still loved this tour. I’ve been to Sausalito before and could have skipped that, there is not much to do in that town besides eat something and look at the bay. Muir Woods is the real gem. We had only 1 hour and 15 min to explore on our own. I was alone so I walked fast and think I got to see more than most in that time. I would have liked more time there. You can add on Alcatraz and the bus drops you off there, or he can drop you at fisherman’s wharf or back at the tour shop. Highly suggest this tour company! Very friendly, on time and knowledgeable!

Roger was the best tour guide!! Very knowledgeable about San Francisco, offered to take photos of everyone, recommended different activities, and was even kind enough to drop everyone off where it was most convenient for them. Muir Woods was also gorgeous, however if you want to attempt long hikes (we didn’t), I wouldn’t recommend a half day tour as there isn’t enough time. My family and I had such a blast, we highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the best of San Francisco and Muir Woods!
