The guide needs to begin the tour on time, mainly out of respect for the participants who have arrived punctually, and also because it is necessary to follow the schedule in order to visit all areas of the Alhambra at the correct time.

Our guide Natalia was lovely. Unfortunately our group had a hard time getting going on time (bathroom stops, lost people and little kids in strollers not ideal for this trip). We were not able to stay for all the tour due to our train but what we experienced was great. Fun anecdotes.

Scam…sold tickets labelled saying Nasrid Palaces tour included and then turned out wasnt included. Exorbitant sum paid and then the disappointment. The tour guide however was absolutely fantastic.

Confusing and deliberately misleading webpage making it difficult to ascertain what tickets we had actually purchased from My Top Tours. This was only clarified after the transaction had been completed and our money taken. We are in dispute with the local tour operator about this and are seeking a full refund. To date, this company has not responded to any of my emails despite assurances from members of staff who dealt with us in person at the Alhambra office

Terrible....
It was not clear that we did not receive or needed tickets and therefore we were not let into the venue
I plan on reviewing your site on Google and making sure other customers know that they
1. Have to visit your offices prior (apparently for no reason, cause I even asked while there if we needed physical tickets)
2. Just because it is labeled skip the line.... doesn't mean this is turnkey and they should contact Alhambra first to ensure they have what is required

For guided tours at the Alhambra, tickets are not sent in advance because the guide provides the official entry at check-in on the day of the visit. We clearly explain this in the informational emails related to the reservation, where we detail the meeting point and the access procedure.
About “visiting the office for no reason”: the pre-check-in step is there to ensure everything goes smoothly (group coordination, guide assignment, timing, and confirming the required documentation). It’s part of the operational process for Alhambra guided visits — not an extra step to complicate things.
Regarding “skip the line”: this label refers to the tour’s managed entry process and not having to queue at public ticket offices. However, the Alhambra is a high-security, timed-entry monument with strict controls, so guests must still follow the guided-tour entry procedure.

We have booked a tour for Alahambra surrondings but the day of the visit the guide did not show up and none was able to give us the ticket to go around by ourself.
So in the end we paid and we couldn’t make use of the service!!!

This tour was a complete scam. I arrived at the designated meeting point at the specified time and waited, but no tour guide ever showed up. I tried calling the provided phone number multiple times on the day of the tour, and none of the calls were answered.
There was absolutely no communication, no explanation, and no attempt to contact me before or after the scheduled start time. I wasted my time waiting and had to make alternative plans at the last minute.
Even worse, Viator has not helped so far, and no refund has been issued, neither by the tour operator nor through Viator, despite the service never being provided.
I strongly advise against booking this tour. Very disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional.

Remember to carry your passports, and check whether you are booking the gardens only ir gardens with the palace. Booking through Viator sometimes confuses one wrt this last bit. On the day of my trip the guide from My Top Tours was Dante. He has a good style of storytelling, nice humour, and was attentive towards the different dynamics of the group. I was falling behind at times due to my leg pain, but when I caught up and asked him something he explained it clearly and patiently.

There are stairs to climb. If that is a problem you can’t go. Stairs cannot be avoided.

It was last minutes booking with the tour guide. Hana was very friendly and knowledgeable about Alhambra. Unfortunately upon completing booking and seeing the tour guide we were informed that we can not see the Palace itself as it wasn’t part of the tour. The listing didn’t specify that this wasn’t included in the price. We still liked it and learned a lot but we were a bit disappointed .

Skipping the line access was great but the overall tour guide lacked the knowledge and or didn’t share the information in an interesting way. It was more a story of their life. When we asked a question, the tour guide didn’t answer the question but explained something completely different.

This was an AMAZING tour by Christian! He was so passionate about the Alhambra and you could tell he knew everything about it. The tour was very informative and one of the best tours I've done. I learned so much and was able to take pictures and enjoy it. If you visit Alhambra, please get Christian as your tour guide, it is worth every penny. You cannot learn the history without him as a guide!

NEVER BOOK with Viator - worthless middlemen with zero empathy, understanding of product or customer service. Especially BEWARE THIS TOUR and MY TOP TOUR - again they are worthless middlemen. They will sell you tickets that are available for public sale thru official sources at four times their real price. They may attempt to justify their mark-up thru their low effort "extras" like a guide or pretending you get faster entrance (it's no faster than anyone else with a pre-bought ticket). They will also fail to give you the ticket ahead of time (despite multiple requests) or even mention the other benefits they give – this means you miss other benefits of the tickets – like being able to take the bus to the Alhambra, or enter other sites. Thanks for messing us over like that during a generational rainstorm my top tour!! The click thrus at sale are deliberately misleading – not sure whether to blame Viator or My Top Tour – but they are equally callous, deceptive and culpable. You may find on final sale that elements of your tour (like entrance to the Nasrid Palaces) have mysterious disappeared from your selected package after final purchase. Honest advice – if you can’t get an Alhambra ticket or city pass as they’ve sold out – give them a miss – don’t get yourself ripped off by these carpet baggers. Two deeply unpleasant companies and a terrible experience.
