I've visited Boston many times over the past twenty years—I've explored on foot, taken bus tours, and even done the duck boat—but this was my first time seeing the city by bike. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an incredible experience.
Our guide, Charles, was fantastic. He started with a clear and thorough safety briefing, and throughout the tour, he was attentive to everyone's comfort and skill levels. His knowledge of the city was impressive, and it was clear he genuinely enjoys sharing Boston’s history and stories with others.
The team at the bike shop was also great—friendly, helpful, and well-organized. I would absolutely do this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience Boston from a fresh perspective.

If you are interested in seeing another side of Boston, getting some exercise and having fun while doing it then this is the tour for you. Engaging and knowledgeable tour guides an easy and educational route around major Boston sites and an intro to many neighborhoods I thought I knew well - but was surprised to discover additional hidden gems. Wonderful intro to Boston that was really unique - we loved it!

Great way to see a lot of the city we didn’t see during our walking tours. It was so much fun too. Our guides Gary and Bob were awesome. We did the e-bikes but could have done the tour easily on regular bikes.

We agree, Gary and Bob are fantastic! Glad you had a good time and hope to see you again.

Hands down the best way to learn about Boston and the different neighborhoods. Felt safe on back streets and bike lanes. Jon and his colleague did a great job. Nice bikes and pleasant employees. Easy to find the meeting spot.

About 10miles of cycle and a few small hills but nothing difficult. You felt very well looked after on the streets with 3 accompanying guides. Charles, Michelle and Austin were all very knowledgeable and took turns giving us information

This was the absolute best way to see Boston and to put its neighborhoods and landmarks into context. The tour leaders who rode with us were funny, friendly, and engaging, and I felt safe knowing they were looking out for us at intersections. I’m not in perfect biking shape but found it easy to tackle the hills without an e-bike. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone who wants an active, fun, educational way to understand Boston!

Awesome tour. Three guides for a group of 20 or so. One at the front, middle and rear. Always felt safe. Several stops along the way at key stops where the guides shared the history of their city. Guides also chatted and shared historical snippets of information along the way. Highly recommended.
Response from Host, Aug 2025

This is a great option for anyone wanting an active option while exploring the city! We visited early August and the weather was perfect, as well as good timing before the colleges started back. A couple of hills early in the tour had me winded, but otherwise, it’s a very easy 8-9 mile ride around the city. Our guides were Bob and Gary and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for riding with us and glad you had a good time! Bob is the best! Cheers

Great way to explore different areas of the city while getting pieces of information along the way. Easy ride - anyone who can ride a bike can do it with no problems.
William_B, Jul 2025
Kosta, Warren and Austin, our guides, were terrific! The knew the interesting neighborhoods, back stories and historical highlights that many guides never mention, or simply don't know, ... and they totaled owned (loved) the City of Boston, -- and by the end of the tour, we all did too! 1000% pure enjoyment. Thank you!
Jill_E, Jul 2025
What a great way to see the city!! Great tour, great guide! Just be aware that the bikes are pedal-driven. There isn’t a throttle, so you do have to pedal to make the bike go. It’s still very easy, but if go into it thinking you won’t need to pedal, that’s not how it works. Highly recommend.
Nick_Z, Jul 2025
The city bike tour has been the best experience thus far during our trip to Boston! There’s no better way to get to know a city than by bike. I was impressed by how bicycle friendly Boston was. It seems like there are bike lanes everywhere! Our guide, Charles, was born and raised in Boston, and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing everything he knows and loves about his city.
Jill_R, Jul 2025

Awesome bike tour of Boston! Gary and Bell were amazing tour guides. Their knowledge of and passion for Boston was apparent and we got to see many sites in a short amount of time. Thank you!
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Colwell, Thank you for the nice review and so glad you had a good time!
Robert_B, Jul 2025
Biking is a great way to see unfamiliar cities. Boston is a lot more than the North End (which is still very neat). The tour was a nice mix of history and current sites.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Robert, thank you for riding with us and we are so glad you had a good time!
Julie_C, Jun 2025
Austin was a great guide. Knowledgeable and funny. Great way to see much of the city. Riding through places that vehicles can’t go allows a different experience.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Julie, thank you for the kind notes and that is our goal to show people a new part of the city never seen before!
