Johnny was awesome! Super personable and informative. We loved the little farm and tasting! Definitely bring swimsuits for the waterfall and fontas!
Excellent experience of Portuguese countryside. Something different to do on holidays. Very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide Johnny.
Brought 5 friends and driver b good was cordial, fun and I had to keep my wife from looking at him. 😊. We did it all, and was quite happy, no rush just a great countryside trip.
A great way to see beyond the beaches. Pedro our guide was knowledgeable and informative which made the trip interesting.
It was a fabulous 4 hours visiting real Portugal. Rustic, exciting and great fun.
“Johnny be good” our driver was fabulously informative. We were able to purchase local produce and cold drinks. Fresh water swimming was exciting.
Everything was ordinary. It was a waste of time and money. It was just a bad ride through dusty roads.
I booked this trip through Viator, my daughter & I wanted to explore some of the countryside in the evening. 🇵🇹☀️.
We met our driver close to our hotel which was excellent !✨He was very friendly & funny from start to end! He gave us lots of information along the way!✨
The Algarve is beautiful! We passed through a few villages, and our first stop was at a farm. We got to see peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, a pig & horse! 🦚🦆🐓🐐🐖🐴 We also got to taste honey, jams & ‘fire water’. So many drops are growing on this farm, it was really lovely. 🌱🌳🌶️
Our second stop was at a ‘custard pie factory’, but due to the time of our trip they’d sold out! 🤩 We had lemon meringue pie & cake which was so good.🍰🍥
Our next stop was at the ‘“Queda de agua do vigario” waterfall! 🌱💦 There are many steps down, but so worth it! Beautiful.
Finally we went up into the mountains to watch the sun set at Messines. 🌅 Here you have 360 degrees view of the surrounding countryside! The sunset spot itself is beautiful!
I definitely recommend you go on this trip, it’s super good value for money & I feel you get to see the ‘real’ Portugal, a must see! ❤️🇵🇹
Tour guide was amazing and tour was very entertaining.
Mountains were majestic and the waterfall was breathtakingly stunning.
Pedro was a great tour guide. The tour itself was wonderful, we loved the town of Alte & the waterfall!
The only downside was the jeep was very old & when sitting in the back, you couldn’t really see out the windows unless you ducked down.
It was lovely . Didn't enjoy the steps to the waterfall. Maybe add to description. Other than that loved it

We would like to clarify a few important points. The pick-up location you selected during booking is a designated meeting point, chosen specifically to ensure smooth operations and avoid traffic issues in restricted areas such as narrow one-way streets. Your hotel is not one of the available pick-up points for this reason.
On the day of the tour, you were not present at the selected meeting point at the scheduled time. According to our policy, this situation is considered a no-show, and we would have been fully justified in proceeding without you.
However, as a gesture of goodwill, and to avoid you missing the experience entirely, our driver made an exception and collected you from your hotel, despite this not being an authorized stop and causing delays for the rest of the group.
For the return, we followed the standard procedure and dropped you at the agreed meeting point. Your dissatisfaction seems to come from not receiving the same exception again, despite already being accommodated beyond our normal policy.
We always strive to be fair to all guests while keeping the tour running on time. In this case, we went out of our way to assist you, and it is disappointing to see this reflected negatively.

Wide variety of activities and sites. Our guide Johnny was brilliant, he entertained us with a range of local knowledge and fun facts. We stopped at a lot of places where you could go for a swim including a large waterfall so consider wearing swimwear under your clothes. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Our tour guide Pedro was very funny and knowledgeable. Totally enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and the local produce.
One of the best experiences for the kids and me . Johnny was a very information , vibrant guide with loads of patience and excellent sense of humour . The organisers were brilliant too , inspite of ours being a smaller group they did not cancel the tour . They honoured our decision to go for the safari and Johnny showed immense positive attitude towards his work and guests . We were very impressed and would highly recommend the tour operator and the guide to others .
Very nice experience with a local who is invested in and for a good authentic tour in Algarve soroundings.
It was a fun ride up into the mountain to see the ancient fort. Open jeep ride is windy but thrilling the stop in Alte and then stopping at the waterfall we’re also interesting.
Highly recommended, great experience seeing the rural areas. Beautiful springs and waterfalls. The guide John was amazing so friendly and informative. It’s definitely worth a trip.

Very knowledgeable driver. Unfortunatley weather was not the greatest but still a lovely experience with great views.
From start to end we had a great time.
Our initial plans were cancelled - not enough people registered for tour we booked.
This worked in our favour as we met a well mannered, respectful person named Will - our guide and driver. He was attentive, accommodating and made our day as it was a special birth date.
We enjoyed the places visited and found Will to be very knowledgeable about areas visited. We had good conversations throughout our journey with him.

Wonderful tour , the tour guide was amazing. He was funny and made sure to accommodate everyone. It was so much fun and we got to a less touristy more local experience! It was fabulous. They said they would pick us up from our hotel but then said our hotel wasn’t in the right area so just double check these details.
we selected this trip as weather was bad on the day.we went with our 2 teenagers.they loved the organic farm and animals especially.the tour guide Will was so nice and accomadating.
Us adults enjoyed the village stop off and not been rushed. Highly recommend this trip. So easy going and relaxing
Some spots were missed completely, not enough explanation about the sites, couldn’t hear much sitting at the back of the jeep.
William the tour guide was an excellent guide. He really made us comfortable and he was so polite. Couldn’t ask for a better guide.
Great trip, loads of interesting stops. Beautiful scenery and great value for money. Guide was brilliant fun. highly recommend this trip.
It's just a great trip , see so much , stop at lovely villages, an to swim also, lovely cafe to taste their pies, beautiful pottery shop, so much to see and beautiful scenery too, excellent safari trip, loved it all 🥰
