Overview
Explore one of Australia’s most distinctive natural features—Uluru—on this fun Segway tour. Your guide will take you to some hidden Aboriginal rock art sites, and tell you about the local history and culture. Travel along the base of the enormous monolith on a Segway. These fun vehicles are also environmentally friendly and make little noise, so they’re the ideal way to explore a sacred natural wonder.

- This is an adventure tour and as such, participants are required to sign a waiver
- Travellers must be 12 years and older and weigh between 45-117kg
- Not recommended for those who do not have the fitness to ride a bicycle.

When we booked we thought we were going all the way around the rock, but we were told that because of recent weather events, that changed. It was no fault of the company and they filled the time with other things, so it was still good. Travis was a fun guide.

Very fun riding segways. Make sure to bring plenty of water on very hot days and a bug net. You’ll definitely will need that!

We are first time Segway riders, practice sessions enabled us to ride confidently and with dexterity. Don't shy away from this experience. It is indeed Unique. Sye and Lisa were excellent tour guides.

Don’t be afraid, just get out and do it.
I’m 62yrs and I really enjoyed the Segway, the information along the way was really good. The company of other people was fantastic.

It’s HOT (at least in February)!! Bring a fly mask unless you want to be eaten alive! Harley made the experience extra special with his friendly and engaging attitude and presentation.

Segways are fun way to get around on a very hot morning. Guide was informative and attentive. Beware of the persistent flies. Fly nets should be considered mandatory if you’re not used to it. Hot, much water is required.

They are great tips that you've provided for others, if travelling during November - March, it can be a good idea to consider getting a fly net and drinking plenty of water at all stages during a visit to Central Australia, especially at that time of year, is very important.

Fun way to experience Uluru. Nick and Cy taught our group how to ride our Segways, which provided a cool way to travel around the rock and see it close up. Nick shared history and other interesting info about the rock and the people of Uluru. Note that the weather is very warm during January with lots of flies. Buy head nets at the town square market to avoid being attacked by flies!!

Uluru is huge! Had we not booked this tour and just walked around on our own, we would have just seen it as a large, beautiful rock structure. However, it is so much more. It was very hot outside so we were able to cover more ground in less time. We also got to meet people from another party and shared lots of laughs. Harley, our guide, so personable and knowledgeable. He constantly made sure we were all doing ok with the heat. Harley asked if we had questions before moving onto the next topic.

It's easy to learn and very fun.However, some attractions require walking, so please be prepared with a hat for sun protection.A Chinese audio guide will be provided.

This is a fantastic tour, segwaying around Uluru was a magical experience and a great way to see it's vastness.

I've done a number of seaway tours before and they never disappoint. Not just for the fun that can be had on these contraptions, but the wealth of knowledge of the guides., and the fact it's a different way to see Uluru. After the tour we ended with the sunset and nibbles. What else could you ask for?

Great experience with great guide. There is some flat walking involved but it’s easy going. You get training on the Segway usage before setting off and it’s easy when you get the hang of it. Good to hear some history and traditions.

Using the segways to view Uluru was a great option to take. The sunset at the end provided a beautiful glow to Uluru that made for a perfect photo. Definitely consider this tour when deciding how to explore Uluru.

We were a bit apprehensive to start as it had been some time since we last did this. The staff were very good at running us through the use of the segways and after a while it was a breeze. Great way to see part of the rock.
