Being in the Moment at a Tea Ceremony.
You will enjoy being in the moment while learning about and getting to do the Matcha Tea Making Ceremony for yourself. The Lady leading the Ceremony is patient whilst giving gentle instructions. Be there 15 minutes prior to the booking to be able to be fitted with a Kimono of your choice. After the Ceremony concludes, you will have a delightful free photo shoot of yourself in the Kimono with your family or small group using your own phone, taken by one of the staff. I loved the results
. It truely is a unique experience which was one of the main highlights of our Japanese trip.

Must do it!
We had such a fun and interesting night. They educate you on the training of sumos plus you also get to see a geisha dance. Then the fun begins. The sumos make the whole evening so entertaining & funny. We were a couple, but the two families there loved it too. What a wonderful way to start our trip in Japan. Thank you

A one of a kind experience
Karin and team were amazing! And not just that - the food, the vibe, the boat, the performance were top notch! This is an experience of a lifetime and shouldn’t be missed at all.
From the beginning to the end, Karen kept explaining as the experience progressed, helping you stay immersed in the performances and the food in itself.
Totally worth the while! I’ll def go again when I am back, and nobody should be missing this!

Sophisticated Geisha Dining Event
Marvelous event. Small Intimate gathering giving each Geisha the opportunity to interact and chat with everyone.
Traditional dishes were served and the Geisha were happy to explain each dish.
Their dancing was amazing
With the games they introduced enabled participation from many of the group.

We had such a wonderful...
We had such a wonderful experience on our food tour with Jasmine K.! 🇯🇵✨ She taught us so much about Japanese culture, history, food, and local traditions while taking us to explore different restaurants and try a variety of dishes.
I especially appreciated how she shared recommendations for places to shop, introduced us to different Japanese snacks and foods, and explained the stories and history behind the places we visited. She made the experience both fun and educational, and I loved being able to step outside my comfort zone and try raw fish for the first time!
Jasmine was such a great guide, and I’m so grateful we had the opportunity to meet her and learn from her. If you’re visiting Japan and want to experience the culture through its food, I would absolutely recommend this tour. Thank you, Jasmine, for such a memorable experience! 💕🍣

Wonderful experience!
This ramen class was such a fun and memorable experience! The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained every step clearly, making the class easy to follow even for beginners. I loved learning how to make authentic ramen from scratch, and the finished meal was absolutely delicious. It was a great hands-on experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who loves food and wants to learn more about Japanese cooking!

Sake!
This was one of the highights of our visit to Japan, the experience was set in a very relaxed and cosy restaurant, the staff were knowledgable, attentive and friendly. The range of sake was impressive and the food was delicious. The other guests were lively and engaging (especially the Irish newlyweds) which was the icing on the cake.

Wagyu beef and sake tasting Shinjuku
The outside of the place looked a bit daunting - but inside cosy and welcoming. What a knowledge the guide had. I went knowing nothing about sake and wagyu and cam away with better knowledge and a very full tummy ! Excellent evening with amazing food and sake to much
Thankyou !

A highlight of our Japan trip — don’t hesitate to book
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We absolutely loved YUCa’s cooking class and it may well end up being our favourite experience from our entire Japan trip.
Yuca’s studio kitchen is beautifully set up — intimate, welcoming and clearly designed with love. Our class of six felt just the right size, and Yuca and her husband were both incredibly warm, hospitable and knowledgeable. The ramen and gyoza we made were genuinely delicious, and we left feeling confident enough to recreate them at home.
We were travelling with our nine month old son and Yuca was wonderfully welcoming of him from the moment we arrived. She was happy for us to bring his pram up the stairs so he could sit comfortably during the class, and she even made him his own little onigiri for lunch — such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that completely melted our hearts.
It’s about an hour from Shinjuku but don’t let that put you off — it is absolutely worth every minute of the commute. And when you arrive, Yuca provides a sheet of local recommendations for sightseeing, cultural experiences and food nearby, which is such a thoughtful touch. We followed her suggestions and spent the afternoon at Yanaka Ginza and Ueno Park — a perfect way to round out the day and explore a part of Tokyo most tourists never see.
Don’t hesitate, just book it. The experience, the food, the hospitality and the local knowledge Yuca shares make it exceptional value and a truly memorable way to connect with Japanese culture. Highly, highly recommended! 🍜🥟

I didn't eat sushi but now I do
I am someone who did not eat sushi but after this class I do. The chef is really good and his skills are admirable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The host is also very knowledgeable and English speaking, he translate for the chef. The staff was very helpful and I had one laughing because I put too much wasabi on one of mines and I swear my eyes popped out my head but I could breath better lol. I was a little nervous about eating raw fish but it was delicious. Definitely will do again when I go back with a group.

Amazing night out with a true local guide!
Naoki is the best drinking buddy and guide you could ever want in a city like Tokyo. He showed us some great hidden gems and gave us priceless local tips to getting around the bar scene in the city. Not to mention his vast knowledge of food! Easily the best bar hopping tour you can do in Shibuya.
