What are people saying about Tokyo

The class is intimate and incredibly informative. They teach you all about the history behind gyoza and ramen in addition to the cooking class. The hosts are so friendly and are very knowledgeable. The class does take shortcuts where necessary to ensure the class keeps moving on time, but it does not detract from the class and they explain in detail the steps that were skipped. At the end of the class we feel confident in taking the recipe home and making this ourselves.

Lovely and professional...
Lovely and professional staff, making the experience one of a kind. They dress you up in kimono, make up your hair, take pictures and then you get to the ceremony - they explain everything in detail and there is a lot of very interesting story telling. The ceremony itself is around 45 minutes, there is 1 minute meditation, you get to make tea yourself too. The best kimono and tea ceremony experience in Japan!

Family’s favorite experience in Tokyo!
This was my second time in YUCa-San’s class but my family’s first time, and we all had the greatest time, exactly as expected! YUCa-san is lovely, her food is incredible, and she is a great and patient teacher for all experience levels! We even had a professional chef in our class, and she was happy to meet his level just as much as she was happy to meet ours!

Fun time
Our guide was Nick, who was very knowledgeable and kind. He took us through Tsukiji market and pointed out lots of things we would have not noticed or known. He recommended some places for us to stop and eat. It was a relaxing time. He then dropped us off at our sushi making class with Kate and Haruko. The class was so fun and we learned a lot! They even give you the instructions and recipes at the end, so you can make sushi at home. I enjoyed this tour.

From freshly rolled sushi and savory gyoza to hearty ramen and delectable handmade sweets, Japanese cuisine offers a diverse and delicious array of flavors. Instead of simply savoring the food, learn practical skills during Tokyo cooking classes. Choose between shared or private lessons hosted in the cozy ambiance of either a local chef’s home or a restaurant. Some experiences combine cooking with market tours, tea ceremonies, or calligraphy classes, while others cater to vegetarian, vegan, and halal travelers.
